「 JOONMYUN POV 」

My eyes opened themselves as the room was pitched black. Nothing was in sight, and I couldn't see what was in the shadows. "Who's there?" I called out. The sounds of shuffling was audible throughout and my eyes were not able to pick up what it was. I then noticed that there was a bag over my head as it was ripped off of me and the lights flickered on. My eyes exposed to the bright light shining down on me. "Where am I?" I questioned while looking around. I now notice what I'm looking at; the Courthouse of Doom or my father's judgmental and cruel decisions. 

"Am I put on trial?" I looked up and noticed my parents sitting together in the judges chair above me. Now, my parents are highly good with secrets because my mother being a judge in decision was something else I didn't know. "Kim Joonmyun, son of the Ruler Kim and Lee Minhee." The low whispers around me grew violent as my mother looked down to me. "My beloved son," she called, "what was the last thing you recalled?" My eyes squinted as my nose scrunched. My mind was spinning, but the last thing I could recalled was Na Mi. The pain and agony my mother put her through for nearly 35 minutes. 

"My child, you turning my child into a full human being." I said. She quirks her eyebrows while tilting her head down further more to look at me. "What else do you remember?" She asked. My brows knitted together as I shrugged my head to the right a little. What else was there to remember? There had to something if I stand in trial in front of my parents and people of the underworld. "I don't recall anything, mother." Father looked to me. He sighed while folding his hands together. 

"Close your eyes." Again, my brows knitted as I did what I was told. "Now, think. Think of carefully and closely to what else happened." There were random lines of light that passed through my head and eyes as I moved my head to the left a bit in attempts to recall. 

I moved back onto the couch as I watched mother come closer to me. She placed her hand above my head as I internally started to scream before releasing the scream about the atmosphere. Na Mi attempted to come forth to me, but father grabbed her wrist preventing her. "Don't interfere. If you do, this will not succeed the way she has planned for it to." That was the last thing I heard as my screaming became louder and stronger.

My eyes popped open as I panted while holding onto the stand behind me. "What did you see?" Father asked. My eyes traveled up to my parents, confusion written across my mind.
