“I won’t change you back until you learn your lesson.” she said, serious.
“But what did I do? I didn’t do anything wrong!”
“You wished to be more attractive, am I right?” she raised her left eyebrow.
You nodded timidly.
“I want to teach you a lesson. Why aren’t you satisfied with your previous face?” she wrinkled her nose.
“Stop acting cute.” you slapped your forehead.
“I wasn’t!” she whined.
“Just change me back!” you shouted.
“I can’t. Spells usually last for a year.”
“What the?! So I’m going to be a girl for a year?” you gasped.
She nodded.
“This is the only way for you to learn your lesson.”
“How am I supposed to bathe?” you hugged yourself.
“You figure it out yourself.” she slapped her forehead.
“Bye! Good luck!” she waved at you.
Poof!
She disappeared in a blink of an eye.
You scratched your head and looked down at the ground.
“I rather die than live in a girl’s body.” you muttered.
You stared out into space with your mouth wide open.
You snapped out of it when someone gave you a light tap on your shoulder.
“Excuse me. Are you okay?” you heard a guy’s voice.
You turned around and saw a tall guy beaming at you.
“Who are you?” you stared at him.
“I’m Kwangmin.” he held out his hand.
“I’m ~~~.” you reluctantly shook his hand.
“Are you alone? Do you want to go to the library with me?” he suggested.
“I’m not in the mood to visit the library. I’m sorry.” you gave him an apologetic look.
“Oh okay. Bye!” he walked away.
You heaved a sigh of relief while clutching your chest.
“I want to go home. I miss my parents.” you said, teary-eyed.
You got up from your seat and trudged back to your home. When you were already at the doorstep, you immediately knocked on the door.
“Mom! Dad! I’m home!” you voiced out.
“Coming!” you heard your mother’s voice.
Her eyes almost fell out when she opened the door. She was stunned to see a lady standing outside her house.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“It’s me! ~~~! Your son!” you pointed to yourself.
“I don’t have a daughter.” she furrowed her eyebrows.
“Besides, my son is not home so if you want to talk to him, you can always give him a call. I’m guessing that you are probably one of his girlfriends.” she added.
“But it’s really me Mom! I’m your son!”
She slammed the door shut since she was getting annoyed.
“Mom it’s really me.” a drop of tear fell from your eye.
You walked away with a blank expression on your face. You felt so depressed since your mother didn’t believe you.
“Where am I supposed to stay now?” you mumbled.
“I’ll let you stay in my house for free.” someone said from behind.
You turned around and saw the guy whom you talked to earlier.
“K-Kwangmin, right?” you stammered.
“Yes.” he smiled brightly at you.
“Were you thrown out of your house?” he asked.
“Not really.”
“You can stay in my house for free. I don’t mind.” he offered.
“Really?” you perked up.
“Yeah sure but beware of my brother. He gets a little grumpy sometimes.” he warned.
