“You are?” you looked at him, confused.

He nodded.

Your mouth fell open and your breath blew out in a sharp gust.

“I don’t understand why I fell for you. First of all, you’re a guy. Secondly, I’m not supposed to fall for you.” He sighed.

Your eyes, already wide with surprise, popped wider.

“Huh? Why?” you wiggled your eyebrow.

“I’m not supposed to tell you. It’s against the rules.”

“Are you a magical creature?” your imagination went wild.

“Nope.” He shook his head.

“Then, what are you?”

“I’m a human.” He said curtly.

“I see.” You rolled your eyes in annoyance.

“I know that you’re hiding something from me.” You narrowed your eyes.

“What would I hide from you?” his voice was shaky.

He didn’t reply.

He just entered the house and gently placed you on the couch. It seems like he was in hurry since he was walking briskly.

He headed towards the door.

“Where are you going?” your eyes were locked on him.

He didn’t respond.

Instead, he just stared blankly at you.

“Please don’t leave me alone.” You pleaded.

“You’ll miss me?” his lips turned up at the corners.

“I guess so.” You groaned in defeat.

He sat beside you.

“Do you want to be a girl...for the rest of your life?” he scooted closer to you.

“I-I’m not sure.” you met his gaze for a second before shifting your eyes to the floor.

“I can help you decide.” His face stretched into an unexpected eye crinkling grin.

“How?”

“Like this.” He leaned closer towards you.
