“Then, what am I supposed to do?” your teeth clenched together with an audible snap.

“Accept his feelings.” He said curtly.

“What?!” you shrieked.

“I don’t want to.” You whined.

Hyerin shot you a glare.

Her glare slowly turned icy.

“Fine.” You groaned in defeat.

You leveled a dark look at her.

You threw a sharp look at her face. Hyerin seemed completely at ease.

“Why are you suddenly doing this to me?” you mumbled.

“I don’t want Kwangmin to get hurt.” She murmured.

“You have feelings for him?” you asked in a horrorstruck voice.

“No.” she giggled without humor.

Your eyes were locked on Hyerin. You could tell that she was battling with her desire to drop the subject.

Her eyes flickered unwillingly to you.

She was quiet, playing absentmindedly with a strand of her hair.

“You’re hiding something from me, aren’t you?” you raised one of your eyebrows.

“No.” she looked at you warily.

A loud knock on the door broke the tense silence.

Your eyes turned towards the door.

You gestured for Hyerin to leave and she immediately disappeared out of your room.

You yanked the door open and pulled it out.

“Oh! Youngmin, do you need anything?” your voice faltered at the end.

“Where’s Kwangmin?” he roughly shoved you aside and scanned your room.

“He’s not here.”  You glared at him while gently brushing your arm.

“Then, where is he?!” he yelled while staring at you accusingly.

“How would I know!” you yelled back.

“What did you do to my brother!” he shook you vigorously.

You didn’t answer, for your fear your voice would shake.

“Answer me!” he demanded.

“I don’t know.” A few tears slipped from your eyes.

He took a deep breath through his nose and he clenched his fist tightly.

“He left without even telling me the reason.” He said with tears leaking out of his eyes.

“I think it’s because of me. He confessed to me earlier…And I rejected him.” You lowered your head.

His eyebrows pulled together.

“Why did you do that?” he looked at you straight in the eye.

“I’m really sorry.” You sniffed.

He softened when he saw you sobbing.

He pulled you tighter against his hard chest, tucking your head under his chin.

“Don’t cry. I’m not blaming you.” He said in a soothing voice.
