“Uhhhh.” You gaped at him.

“You’ve dated girls before?” he repeated his question.

“I mean my friend broke up with many girls before because of jealousy.”

“We don’t care.” Minyoung replied arrogantly.

You rolled your eyes in annoyance and turned back to face the front.

Ring!
It’s time for dismissal

You got up and slowly approached Kwangmin.

“Let’s go.” you grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him out of the classroom forcefully.

“Wait! I need to do something.” He shook off your hand from his shoulder.

It made you stop on your tracks.

“What’s wrong?” your eyebrows pulled together.

“I need to return these books to the library.” He flipped through the pages of the book.

“Okay I’ll wait here. Make it fast.”

He nodded his head eagerly and he immediately made his way to the school’s library.

Your legs were tired and so you sat on the empty seat by the side while waiting for Kwangmin.

You just stared out into space since you were dying of boredom.

“I’m back!” you heard Kwangmin’s voice.

He was running towards you.

“Let’s go now then.” You beamed at him while he led the way.

When the two of you were already at their doorstep, you saw someone familiar standing just a few meters away from you.

You faced the other direction to get a good view of the person’s face.

Your mouth fell open when you found out that it was your mother.

“Mom.” You murmured.

“Huh?” Kwangmin turned around and was surprised to see you on the verge of tears.

“What’s wrong?” He ran to your side and patted your back gently.

“I miss my son!” you heard your mother sobbing.

Your tears blurred your vision.

You blinked them away.

‘Don’t cry.” Kwangmin said mildly while patting your head.

Your mother walked away quickly.

“I miss her.” You thought.
