“You know Minhee?” you stepped out of your room.

They flinched.

“Y-yes.” Kwangmin trembled.

Youngmin grabbed his brother’s collar and dragged him out of the scene.

“Yah! Where are you going?!” they quickly made their way to the door.

As soon as you realized that they wanted to run away, you took to your heels.

“Yah! Slow down!” you couldn’t catch up with them since they were running at a fast speed.

You started running out of breath.

You stopped on your tracks, panting.

“They’re too fast.” You said while realizing that you lost track of them.

“Which way did they run to?” you scanned the whole road with your eyes but it just made you confuse.

You wrinkled your nose.

“Ugh! What is it that they’re hiding from me?!” you whined.

You spotted an empty seat just outside a mall.

You limped towards it and sat down obediently while gently massaging your aching leg.

While you were busy massaging your left leg, someone held out their hand in front of you.

You looked up and saw Kwangmin.

“Kwangmin?” your eyes sparkled.

“I’ll carry you home.” He knelt down with his back facing you.

“You will?”

“Mhm.” He nodded.

You got on his back and you wrapped your arms around his neck.

“Why did you come back?” you questioned.

“I can’t bear to see you in pain.”

“So you were watching me?” you gasped.

“We were watching you from our hiding place.” He responded. “I just can’t help it. I don’t want to see you in pain.”

“Oh. Where’s your brother?”

“He went to look for Minhee.” He replied flatly

“Why did the two of you run away? Where did you first meet Minhee? Are you guys related?” you started bombarding Kwangmin with questions.

“Minhee is just a friend.”

“No. You’re lying.” You glared at him.

He slowed his pace.

“Why would I lie to you?” he sighed.

Your glare turned icy.

“Just tell me the truth.” You demanded.

“No. But I have something else that I need to tell you urgently.” He tried to change the subject.

“What is it?”

“I like you.” He blushed madly.                    

“You’re lying.” You whispered, smiling weakly, trying to make a joke out of it.

“I’m telling the truth.” He pouted.
