He rested his arms around your shoulder.

“Let’s go.” He made you face the other direction and he walked home with you.

When you entered the house, you quickly darted to your room. You lied down on the bed, with your legs sprawled out.

“I’m tired.” You grumbled.

When you were about to shut your eyes, someone lightly knocked on the door.

You bolted up and trudged towards the door.

You twisted the door knob and saw Kwangmin standing only a few inches away from you.

“If you need a shoulder to cry on, I will volunteer mine.” He beamed.

You couldn’t help but crack up.

“Thanks for cheering me up.” You smiled back.

You directed him to your bed and he sat beside you.

“So, do you mind telling me your life story? How you became a girl?” he broke the awkward silence.

Your throat suddenly felt swollen; you had to clear it twice before you answered.

“Hyerin is a….fairy. She’s the reason why I became I girl.” You looked at him warily while you spoke.

His face was expressionless.

“Oh.” It was his only response.

“You’re not shocked? You don’t find it crazy?” you gaped at him.

“No.” he replied flatly.

“Why?”

“Because I believe you.” He trembled.

“I see.” You looked at him suspiciously.

His eyes darted ahead and back to you warily.

“I have to work on my homework now. Bye.” He said in a hurry and he rushed out of your room.

“That was weird.” You thought.

Your suspicion returned. This kind of behavior was unlike him.

You tiptoed to his door and pressed your cheeks against it. You wanted to know if he was really working on his homework.

“She almost found out.” Kwangmin said, panting.

It seems like he was talking to someone on the phone.

“Who is he talking to?” you questioned yourself.

“Kwangmin, I’m home!” you recognized Youngmin’s hostile voice.

You also heard his footsteps.

You ran desperately to your room.

You didn’t want him to see you loitering outside Kwangmin’s room.

You left your door ajar, you peeked through the small opening and observed Youngmin’s every move.

He entered Kwangmin’s room. It was extremely quiet.

“What are they doing inside?” you thought.

The door creaked open.

“Let’s go look for Minhee.” Youngmin metioned your girlfriend’s name.

“Minhee? He knows Minhee?” you said in your head.
