"Wow, this place..." You took a deep breathe and inhaled the foreign air of this wonderful city. Even though it was a foreign country, you felt in place. A strange feeling, but it was because of the kind people around, from the minute you touched down, you knew this place had a good feel.

Now, it must be weird that you managed to escape without any of the staff knowing, it took a little plan here and there and the help of Myungsoo. Speaking of him...

"Stop sniffing, you look like a dog," Myungsoo commented, placing his sunglasses on. You scoffed at how he tried to blend in, well, he was doing a pretty good job, it was just you. Dressed in sweatpants and a casual tee, your hair in a messy bun after that long airplane ride.

All for the act. If you could tell Myungsoo the truth, you would be able to wear your branded items. Believe me, it was pretty hard for you to board the plane in such casual clothes, especially with everyone staring at you.

Myungsoo had his sunglasses, his brown hair was shinning in the light. His complexion was pale from the lack of sleep, he wore a plain black tee and a brown leather jacket. Beneath, he wore ripped jeans and high cut boots. Believe me, it was a casual wear, but in order to blend in, I bet he was sweating like a pig.

"You are in no position to speak. That leather jacket is probably making the heat worst. Didn't you tell me the temperature was pretty much like Korea? So what's with you trying to fit in?" You narrowed your eyes at him and he laughed.

"Fine, you got me there."

Then, a taxi stopped in front the both of us and you elbowed Myungsoo, "You can talk to him. I can't."

He chuckled, "English ain't you strongest subject, huh?" He said that in fluent English and your jaw nearly dropped. He was not a Korean. Yep, you were very sure of that.

"I came here often. New York is like my second home," he explained, before opening the door for me. You mouthed a 'Thank you' as you entered. The driver stared at you and you gave an awkward smile and then you pointed to Myungsoo, hoping he would wait for Myungsoo to come in before he asked any questions.

He smiled in understanding and you heaved a sigh of relief when Myungsoo entered from the other side, telling him where to go.

"There we are," Myungsoo stated as he pointed to the small white house isolated from the rest of the houses. Well, it had a huge front yard but it was quite a small house for such a large area.

"Are you coming?" You looked at Myungsoo and he shook his head before giving a meek smile, "I can't. That guy doesn't like me."

You laughed at how honest he was and nodded in agreement, "So you're getting the hotel?" Myungsoo shook his head, "You see, I have a house here. And you're gonna be staying with the dude so-.."

"What?"

"You're staying with him," he stated and boy, you felt like strangling him, "No, I'm not?"

"Oh, just take your luggage and beg him, he'll soften up and let you in. He wouldn't let a girl roam around finding a place in this city all alone. If he cares for you, he wouldn't let you roam around," he stated as he looked out of the window, avoiding my eye contact.

You bit your lips as you sighed, "I don't know if I should thank you or punch you."

"You wouldn't do that," he stated and frowning, you got out of the taxi to take your luggage. And then, you stared at the house as if it was the scariest thing around. You looked back to see the taxi taking off, and you sat on your luggage with a frown. This is not gonna be easy. You could feel it.

  Mustering your courage to walk up the pathway towards the door was probably the hardest thing you'd ever done. It felt like something ominous was behind that door and you weren't doubting it. No wait, Jungkook wasn't an ominous thing!
