Finally In Contact

Letter 4

I finally broke out of my trance.

"Shinee?" I wondered. "The Shining Shinee?" This had better not be some jerk playing a hoax on me.

"Are you sure...?" I questioned.

"Yesh, yesh. Now that you know, I want to know something too. How many rooms are in your house?"

"What?" I asked. What kind of manager asks about a fan's house?!

"Your house. How many rooms?"

"Um...four...but we have two spares...why?"

"Good, good."

I paused. What was going on?

"Look." I said. "Can you explain to me about why you're calling me? I mean, why would you call me? There are heaps of other fans too! Why did you choose me?"

"Oh, I didn't choose you. The boys chose you."

WHAT?! THE BOYS?! SHINEE?! KIM JONGHYUN, LEE JINKI, KIM KIBUM, CHOI MINHO...LEE TAEMIN?! CHOSE ME?! Wait...chose me for what, exactly?

"Hey...um..excuse me, but what did they choose me for? And how did you know my name? How did you get my contact details? How did you guys even know about my existance?"

"You have too many questions. I answer later. For now I go. Bai bai!" and with that, the manager with really bad english, hung up, leaving me standing, with my mobile still pressed against my ear, shocked.

Shinee's manager punched the air in triumph as he grinned.

"I'm guessing that it turned out well?" assumed Minho.

"Hahaha yes yes. Well boys, you just got yourself a place to stay in Australia!"

"YAAAAY!" cheered Taemin.

"Goodies! I'll just call Jjong and Onew to tell them." said Key.

"...Hey, manager Hyung?" asked Taemin, "You didn't even tell her about us staying her her place...do you even know her address?"

The manager thought about it. "That's ok, we can always call her again. Haha. Hmm and I think she needs some time to figure out what exactly happened."

-Natalia's POV-

Oh. My. Gosh. What exactly happened? I squatted down and started to rock backwards and forwards on my feet, still dazed.

"...Nat? You alright?" Kate asked.

"Oh my gosh. You have no idea. I just got a call-" I paused as I remembered what the guy on the phone said. "Secret".

"...I just got a call from my parents!"

"Why so excited for?" asked Jessica, another one of my friends.

"Because I never get calls from them! Yeah, that's right! Mum never calls me! It's always me who calls her...haha...yeah..."

"Oh, ok then, haha. LET'S CONTINUE PLAYING MARIO KART! YAY!" yelled Jessica as she picked up her Wii steering wheel.

I hurridly ran to her and quickly picked up my one and avoided eye contact with Kate, who, I couldn't help but notice, was giving me one of her looks which read, "I know something happened and I'm going to find out what it is one way or another".

Jessica turned from the television screen to look at Kate, who was still staring at me.

"Oi! What are you doing?"

"Huh?" Kate quickly turned to face her and grinned. "Oh, nothing."

"Hmm..." Jessica looked from her to me. "What's going on..?"

"Nothing! Let's play!"

-Kate's POV-

Something's going on and I'm going to find out what! Suddenly Natalia's phone started to ring again. She looked at me with a frightened look on her face.

"I-I'm going to go now." She reached into her bag for her phone and rejected the call. "Bye, guys!"

"BYE!" shouted Jess as Kate half-ran out of the room and we heard the front door slam shut.

"Hmm I wonder why she's in such a hurry," thought Jessica out loud.

I couldn't help but have a feeling that Natalia was hiding something from us. I stood up and got out of the house to follow her.

-Jessica's POV-

....Why'd everyone go? I looked around.

"What am I going to do now?" I said out loud. "This isn't even my house! Aish, stupid Kate, leaving me in her gigantic house all by myself."

I glanced around the living room and my eyes landed on the huge plasma.

"Oh well...hehe...I guess I'll just continue playing MARIO KART! WHEEEE HEHEHE!"

-Kate's POV-

Where is she?! I swear I heard her a few seconds ago! I looked around every corner and through every bush but I couldn't find Natalia. Seriously?! Where did that girl go?! I huffed and turned back to the direction of my house and headed home.

-Natalia's POV-

Ahh thank goodness she didn't see me. I put the phone back to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Helloh?"

"Uhm..hello?"

"Helloh?"

"Hello...?"

"Helloh?"

I started to get annoyed. "...Are you going to say anything else or not?!"

"Oh...yes. Can I have your address?"

What?

"Uhm...excuse me?"

"Can I puh-lease have your address?"

"...my address? Like...my home address? Where I live?"

"Yes, yes. Address puh-lease."

"Oh em gee...are you guys coming down to visit me?! OH MY GOSH!" I screamed.

"Maybe! First, what is your address?"

I hastily told him and said our goodbyes and hung up. I literally skipped all the way home, imagining what it would be like if Shinee came to my house to stay. Like that would ever happen. They're probably having some sort of survey to see where their fans came from and where they live.

Ok, this isn't what I planned it to be lol. It was meant to be at minimum 1300 words :( but its only 785. SIGH IM SO SORRY T.T and I was meant to have one up by...yesterday LOL its like 12.21am now so yeah...dammit, I missed it by 21 minutes ><
