Ken started making mental notes of what he could do with Leo, without making the other nervous or unsure.

He realized the offering the other food was okay, but not constantly, otherwise the silent other would stare at him with an odd expression on his face and ignore the food.

 So he took to only giving him food on occasion.

Sometimes when he was lucky, the other accepted some of his popcorn in front of the TV.

Other times the other’s hand would silently take the snacks. He acted like he didn’t notice, it wasn't as if he minded Leo taking his snacks. Anyway in his opinion it was adorable.

Leo approved of this, he didn’t like taking stuff in front of the TV but with Ken so close and the popcorn too, he tried and succeeded in taking just a few.

The other didn’t seem to notice, which he was grateful for. Imagine him being caught taking snacks.

Next, encouragements were good.

Leo was shy and refused to do a lot of the stuff the other did, but with Ken’s small encouragements the other had opened up. He let himself be hugged and let N play with him more often before snapping.

They even got a smile or two out of him on camera, mostly because he was laughing at Ken or N or something the other had done.

Even the I Got A Boy Performance was a success, Leo did well, thought Ken and was very proud of him.

He was slowly overcoming his shyness.

And with that Ken's wish to take care of the other grew.

He grew very fond of the other, teasing Leo sometimes, getting either a smile or a threatening shadow punch.

Skinship: Leo was accepting his hugs and the leaning on each other in front of the TV grew natural.

They spent a lot of time together, not only at home but also in waiting rooms and interviews they found the other close by.

Slowly, Ken noticed Leo would be the one who’d come and wrap his arms around him, not that he was complaining.

On the contrary it was moments like these that made his heart skip a beat and look lovingly at the other, patting his head sometimes other times his back comforting.

He could almost feel Leo purring if he did this.

Taking care of a Lion was a lot of work but he wouldn’t stop for the world.

Leo had grown used to Ken taking care of him.

Following N’s advice he didn’t waste thoughts on worrying about what if it stopped, he stopped beating himself up mentally on the stuff he should do in return.
He unconsiously found himself looking for the other more often then he liked to admit for a hug or just to sit next to him watching him practice or sing or just to be next to the other.

And Ken was awfully cuddle able, if Leo looked at him for too long, he noticed that he just wanted to cuddle him and snuggle the adorable other vocal.

But he caught himself before the urge could grow to big, not that he would do that; that would be odd.

Int he following days, he had to resist that urge many times, especially when the other was acting cute.

The others too had also noticed how close the two vocals had gotten.

N was beaming like a proud mother, whilst Hyuk and Hongbin liked to tease the two, almost costing them their lives if Ken hadn’t been there to stop Leo from skinning them alive with his death glares.

They didn’t know how to take care of a lion.

But Ken did and this made him smile happily.
