“WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN’T QUIT?!” Minah yelled to that grey suited man through the phone in the lobby.

“What I mean is, once you get the job, it’s impossible to quit.”

“No it isn’t, I’m quitting, RIGHT NOW.”

“The company is afraid that you might have gotten secret information, and you might sabotage them.”

Minah sighed deeply, who the hell did they think she was? The FBI or something? It’d be great to sabotage them after what Jaejoong said, but no way will Minah ever do such a thing, because she has a heart.

“Listen, I’m coming to pick you up, and we can have a talk about it.” He said. “Hello? Hello Miss Hwa?” The grey suited man said to the phone.

Minah ran out of the lobby and onto the streets. They won’t let her quit, and then she’ll just run away.

Minah thought she finally escaped when black SUV’s were roaming the streets, much like the one the grey suited man had. She groaned and continued running. She’s getting cramps on her sides and it hurts even more with every step she takes. She finally came to a concealed park and sat down on the bench. There were people starring at her. Minah looked like a big mess, her hair was flying all over the place and she was panting like a small puppy. Minah finally thought she could catch her breath, but two hands set on her shoulder. She turned around and saw two men in suits.

“Miss Hwa, we need you to come with us.”

“NO!” She scared and started to run, the two men started to chase her. Soon, they got hold of her, Minah started to kick and scream.

“Let her go…” A voice said. Minah noticed it was the grey suited man.

When thing got settled down, the two of them sat at the park bench.

“I’m sorry for not introducing myself. I’m Kang Jung Han. Head of security at SM Entertainment.”

“SM Entertainment…?”

“It’s a record label, or production company.”

Minah nodded her head. “I don’t really care…so, can I quit?”

“No.” He replied fast.

“Look, I’m not going to sabotage them. I don’t even know anything about them.”

“We know that, but the chairman suggest that we cannot let you quit.”

“Who’s your chairman? I want to speak to him.”

“He’s usually overseas, there is no way that you’ll be able to talk to him face to face, even when he is in Korea.”

“Can’t you just let me go? I can’t work there.”

“It is not my duty to decide, it is the chairman’s and he wants you to stay.”

“Why?” Minah asked.

“I cannot reveal that because it is not any of my business.”

“If you don’t tell me, I’m leaving.”

Mr. Kang sighed, “I’ll make you a deal.” He looked nervous, “Stay with this job, and I’ll guarantee you’ll find out everything over time.”

Minah’s head was filled with thoughts. Did she want to risk it? What if when she finds out, it isn’t as exciting, or breathtaking, what if it’s something bad? But Minah is so curious, she wants to know why they picked her of all people. An escaped orphan, who have absolutely nothing.

Just then, for some reason, her head started to hurt. She saw blood in front of her. She saw the headmaster of the orphanage in front of her, with a bamboo stick in his hands. Her body ached and hurt from the bruises and cuts.

Do you want to die? A voice said.

Why do you cause so much trouble?

Was it your mom? Dad?

“Minah, are you…alright?” Mr. Kang asked.

Minah quickly snapped out of it and nodded her head. “Yeah…sorry.” Her vision felt fuzzy and her fingertips feel like their being poked by needles. If I don’t stay here, they’ll find me. Minah thought.

Minah looked back at Mr. Kang, “Okay…I’ll try.”

Mr. Kang smiled, “Good, I’ll bring you back to the apartment right now.”

They pulled up in front of the building. Minah let go of the handles on the door, her heart thumping. This was her second time riding in a car, and still made her nervous.

“I wish you luck, Miss Hwa. They're nice guys, they’ll treat you well.”

“Yeah, okay there.” Minah snorted. She got out of the car, and made her way into the building.

“See?” Jaejoong said, “I wasn’t lying!” Jaejoong was showing everyone the news article that he read online. “Isn’t that her?”

“This is really weird…She does kinds look like an orphan, I mean, she was kind of…” Yunho thought how he could finish his sentence.

“Should we call the police?” Changmin asked.

“I don’t think we should, if SM knew this, they would have already called the police. They put her here for a reason.” Yoochun said.

“You mean, to prote–”

“AHEM.” A voice said behind them. They turned around to find Minah standing right behind them. “What cha doing?” She asked.

“How long have you been standing there?” Junsu said, trembling, worried that the mentally ill Minah would attack them any second.

“I just came in why?” Minah looked around the room, all eyes were on her. “Hey, what’s that?” She pointed to the laptop screen.

“Nothing!” Jaejoong slammed the screen down.

A few seconds later, they heard a weird buzzing noise. It was coming from the printer. The printer was printing out the news article that they were reading. Minah leaped towards it to grab it, but Jaejoong butted in her way and snatched it first.

“What is that?” She demanded.

“Nothing, go mind your own business.” Jaejoong slurred his words.

Without another word, Minah smirked at them then grabbed her duffle bag and headed towards her room.

“Hey! Where are you going?!” Jaejoong yelled after her.

“To take a shower, you .”

They heard a door slam and knew they were finally safe. “What are we going to do now?” Jaejoong asked.

“First, I think you should get a better laptop.” Yunho said.
