Author's Note
A Kiss Under The Mistletoe!Hello my lovely gogumas <3
Did you enjoy your sunday?
I didn't write an author's note but I wanted to write a thank you note instead :P because I am polite like that hehe
This was my first chaptered fic *LIKE EVER* as I had stopped writing during university, through this platform and from simple encouragements, I got over my reservations to write and express my thoughts. This was not perfect and definitely not a very refined effort from my side, but atleast I tried and I finished it.
Even getting 1 subscriber who is willing to give 5 minutes of their day to read what you write is HUGE booster and I hope you guys continue supporting me and every writer on this site, because being called authornim and author unnie actually brightens up our day :)
To the subscribers and upvoters to this story, I thank you all :)
And to people who commented as well, you get an imaginary chocolate as well LOL <3
I have read a ton of fics here and they remain my inspiration to write because reading makes you probe another world :)
Now coming to the last chapter, I got 3 messages asking me about the ideas of the proposal .
Well logically speaking I am not a fan of the cliched plot in which you kiss, marry and have babies , so instead I thought realistically and made them just promise each other a commitment. and 2 years is not long wasn't a typo error :P Since they are idols, 2 years are not long because of their work? It was just a sensible interplay at merging reality :)
To people who asked me about the seven vows and walking around the table.
In Hindu marriages, the priest makes the bride and the groom promise 7 different promises .
And there is a ceremony called SAPTAPADI (pronounced as SUPT-PU-DEE) , this means that the bride and groom take 7 steps around the holy fire while sealing their vows to each other. It's the most important rite in any hindu marriage, so if that doesn't happen , you aren't really married :P
The first 4 steps, groom leads the bride and the later 3 , it's the bride who leads the groom.
*Culture shock people xD*
Also in the Greek culture, when a boy and a girl walk around the table with a flower in the girl's hand given by the boy , they are considered married.
So this is where I derived the concept from.
I couldn't have used fire because they are in Korea, but I wanted to give them a grown up committed scene (?) I hope I succeeded :D
I have to admit that I find it EXTREMELY diffcult to write about YongSeo and EXTREMELY easy to write about other characters :P But then I like my other characters, I think I had a lot of fun writing Yuri and Krysmin , that was epic XD
This story is not really over because the Epilogue is already done :P I just need to edit it and put it up. Will do that soon-ish? lol
Anyhow, I was thrilled to put this up and have everyone read and enjoy it , and I hope I will keep on churning gogumas out of my head and keep you entertained?
because even though I don't know you guys, we feel like a huge family :)
A special shout out to @believerremember for being a kick writer and support.
Please support her fics a lot :D
And we can meet next with Seven Sins Of Love .
And yes don't worry YongSeo are endgame in every fic :D
Muchas Graciasssss muackssss <3
