(PART I)

‘One of the best dancers in the world’ Kyungsoo defined his target while watching him perform live on the stage and impress everyone, including him, that no one can beat him. His screen name is Kai and his real name is a mystery, even Kyungsoo couldn't hack his background no matter how hard he tried now and before. The guy is a mystery and dancing is the only thing that defines him as the moment.

Kyungsoo clap his hands in the air soon after Kai's intense performance which made his heart leap. He admits, he has a crush on the dancing machine and it's sad that he has to steal something away from him.

Kai won a very important award in a dancing competition and their leader wants that from Kai. Kyungsoo was appalled at first but he has no right to turn it down because the most important rule of being a thief is that: They steal because they are thieves and they are thieves because they steal; nothing more and nothing less.

Though, Kyungsoo was having a hard time contemplating on whether or not to stand up from his seat and drag his feet towards Kai or glue his in place so he couldn't touch the ash-blond guy. He then picked the first one since he's here in the first place because of his job.

He then stood up and walks toward the sea of people swarming around to get Kai's attention and Kyungsoo just stand there at the back, waiting for his chance when suddenly, someone grab his wrist and he couldn't tell if this night is his lucky night or what, upon finding the one who took him by the hand is none other than his target himself.

"Sorry but I already have a date. Now, excuse us." Kyungsoo just watched Kai's lips as it moves and then watch him while he drags Kyungsoo out of the crowd, and not minding the flashes of cameras around. Kyungsoo was probably in bliss. He must've been in inside his own dream, for all he knows.

"At last! We're free! Whew! That was really close. Are you alright? Hey? Hey!"

The shake and the yell wake Kyungsoo up from his own world and he couldn't help but gasped seeing Kai face to face and this few inches away from his nose. He started forming questions in his head and one of those, he halfly blurted aloud.

"W-why did you--"

"Why did I kidnap you?" Kai rebutted and Kyungsoo nodded half-heartedly because the word: kidnap is such a sensitive word to say since stealing and kidnapping are cousins because they do almost the same thing, in a thieves perception, that is.

Kai then shrug next. "I don't know. Wait. Are you perhaps, do not like me?" He suddenly asks that made Kyungsoo taken aback, he violently shakes his head and confess.

"I-I do!" He squeaked and Kai frowned at him, looking at Kyungsoo furiously.

"Then, why are you standing at the back and look so spaced out? That's the opposite of what you had just said." Kai's eyes scrutinized him and Kyungsoo felt like he was being x-rayed by the intense stare.

"I-I...I was just... waiting for my t-turn." Kyungsoo stuttered like he was being judge inside the court room. It made his stomach churn in nervousness. He admits, he's a newbie but that doesn't mean it's his first time stealing. Well, it would be the first time to steal from his secret crush, then.

"A-are you sure you didn't answer half-heartedly?" Kai ensured and still looks at Kyungsoo curiously. The latter nod his head with a blush, seeing how close their faces are and then looked away afterwards.

"Ok. What's your name, pretty boy?" Kyungsoo heard Kai's voice fading away as he walks over to his shining black sports car and opens the car door and then turns back to him, waiting for his reply.

"D.O." Kyungsoo muttered his alias since it's one of their rules to hide their real names as well to protect them. And come to think of it, they might have the same reasons as to why they have aliases. Though except that Kyungsoo is a thief which makes him a criminal while Kai, he's a star, a celebrity.

"D.O? Well, your name is kinda odd. But anyways, I think we need to go before the paparazzi climb up here at the parking lot and take our pictures." Kai then runs to the passenger seat door and opens the door and wait for him.

Kyungsoo started to panic when he heard paparazzi and pictures. He almost forgot that he might get into trouble when his pictures come out in the public. This is no good.

"Um... can you give me a few minutes? I need to head into the bathroom very quickly." Kyungsoo excused and Kai's brows furrowed but his head nodded that made Kyungsoo started running back inside the building and not forgetting to take his mask on and his plan is to take the negatives and memory cards of every cameraman inside the elevator just in time after hearing the parking lobby's elevator rings.

He made sure that he smashed the CCTV camera before he could be in the clip and kicked and punched every busy body inside the elevator in a quick five minutes before distorting the cameras and then taking the memory cards out from each and every gadget they had.

"W-who are you?" asked tiredly of one of the gay paparazzi Kyungsoo injured. He then slip out a small card with words written: I hate pictures; and then opens the elevator door and walks back to where Kai's car is located at and maybe, just maybe, he waited for him.

Kyungsoo was then surprised seeing Kai leaning on the driver seat's door, arms folded over his chest and is waiting for him. When he looks up, Kyungsoo blushed seeing the handsome face is looking directly at him.

“I-I’m sorry—“

“You don’t have to apologize. I kept my promise. Now, get inside because my minions are hungry.” Kai then opens the car door for him whom he gladly takes and when Kai was seated beside him inside.

“I can cook for you.” Kyungsoo blurted out shyly. “W-well, if that’s okay with you—“

“Can you make kimchi pasta then?” Kai salivate while beaming at him. Kyungsoo smiled and nod his head in reply.

“Then,” Kai turns the engine on and reeks off his wheels out of the lobby. “Home cooking it is.” He smiled which makes Kyungsoo smiled in delight but then, remembering his mission, he couldn’t help but to half regret his plan.

"Wow! It smells nice!" Kai chimed in delight upon entering his kitchen and Kyungsoo madly blush seeing him only wearing a white bathroom robe. He then stiffened when Kai walks over to him and smells his dish closely. They were now so close to each other, Kyungsoo can smell the soap's scent latched on Kai's body while he smells like kimchi.

"I can't wait to taste it--"

"U-um... this will be up soon so I suggest that...” Kyungsoo gulped and with shaky hands, pushed Kai out of the kitchen. “Get dressed before the food turns cold!” He then turns away touching his chest that was beating loud and hard inside.

“Ooh Hyukkie hyung, if not for this, I wouldn’t step a foot near him.” He grunted and then turns off the stove and plates his kimchi pasta on the serving plate. Kai then came back, fully dress now and wears a smile on his lips as he takes his seat across him at the kitchen table.

“I can’t wait to eat this, D.O. Thank you for the meal!” Kai cheerfully dig in afterwards and put his thumbs up in the air as his mouth was still full with pasta inside. Kyungsoo then started to eat as well and they had shared light conversations during their scrumptious dinner.

They brought the bottle of wine and two wine glasses out in the living room and sat on the white fluffy rug and lean on the black couch. Kai then pour him some and Kyungsoo took the bottle and do the same on Kai's glass but before they could hit another conversation, Kai's phone rings.

"Excuse me for a second, 'kay?" Kyungsoo nodded in reply and followed Kai going inside his room with his eyes and once the door closes, he immediately jumps up and started looking for the gold plated medal which was obviously hanging out in the open on top of the big LCD screen in front of him. Kyungsoo then quickly take out the fake medal hiding inside his jacket's pocket and switch them both, taking the real medal and hid it safe on the secret pocket of his jacket and then place the fake one at the real medal's place.

He then quickly sat with the same position where Kai had last saw him so not to have suspicion whatsoever and waited for the guy to come out any moment soon.
