for anyone who doesn't understand:
 
Yun Ae killed herself before looking for the shadow because she knew that her current heart had the powers from the elements so she already had her memories back and her present life when she went to look for the shadows. She did it to protect everyone, but she knew that the shadow would kill her. She was prepared to die.

Chapter 14: The story seems incomplete somehow...I mean there is still the mystery of having two hearts? I mean she mentioned the heart with powers, what about the one does not have powers? Oh well.
