Breakfast and Tears
My Beautiful PrincessByunghun’s POV
“What the hell are they doing here?!” my father yelled.
“I’m bringing them back, and you, shall not kick them out again. Understand?” My mom glared at him, making him a bit shocked. I could tell by his face.
“W-What? N-” He was suddenly stopped by my mom who was holding his collar with one hand.
“What’s that?” she said in low and scary tone.
“N-Nothing yeobo. I-I’ll let them live here.” He said in defeat and she let go of him. He sighed deeply after she let him go. “Aish yeobo, you should really stop doing your old habit as a gangster.” I looked at her at disbelief.
“You were a gangster mom?” She didn’t answer, she just chuckled. I saw Channie’s face and it was the same as mine. We didn’t think that my mom was a gangster and the fact that my dad was scared of her.
After that, my dad went to his room and the rest of us talked together in the living room. We talked about our life when I was kicked out, Chanhee decision to live with me, his job, and other stuffs. I also said that I didn’t want to make him work like that ever again. When my mom heard this, she grabbed his purse and gave me a black card. It was a credit card. She said that it was unlimited and I could use it for whatever I want. She also said that Chanhee had to stop working because it disturbed his studies. I couldn’t argue with that, that was what I wanted and Chanhee’s grades were decreasing because of his lack of time. We talked and laughed for several hours.
“It’s almost dinner time, time sure flies quickly.” She giggled. “What do you guys want to eat?”
“Oh mom! Try Channie’s food. He’s really good at cooking.” I said, boasting my boyfriend.
“Oh really? Would you cook dinner for us Chanhhe?” He nodded shyly. “Alright! Make it for 3.” She paused for a while. “On a second thought, make it for 4 people. But don’t tell your father that Chanhee makes it.” She winked at us and we nodded in agreement. Chanhee made the dinner, and after he finished, we sat at the dining table together. You could tell by my father’s face that he was being forced. He just sat there without talking and soon the maids brought the foods. His face changed suddenly.
“Yeobo, this is good. Do we have a new chef?” His reactions made us giggled.
“Chanhee made these.” She answered quickly.
“He what?!” he looked at Channie with his narrowed eyes.
“Oh just shut up and eat! You just admitted it that these were good.” She rolled her eyes and continued her eating. We laughed at my mom’s reaction. It was like she knew what my father was going to say.
“Fine.” He groaned. “But this isn’t like I have already accepted you or something.” He whinned.
It felt good. Eating together like this. The last time we ate together like this was when I was 5. It was only 3 of us but now, I had Channie which made it 10 times better. We laughed together, talked together. The feelings that I hadn’t felt for a really long time. After finished eating, we decided to go to our room because the next day was a scho
