Torn LoveI could hear their muffled laughter and Eunhye's squeals fading into the distance after they exited. I fiddled with my fingers as a tear escaped from my eye and glided down my cheek. "Always happens to me." I sighed heavily and got up shakily, using the wall as a support, while I picked up my books and left the room in search of a place with some privacy.
I sulked down the stairs, tears blurring my vision, as Luhan's confession replayed in my mind,"I like you. I really really like you." "How I wish he said that to me." I mumbled, thinking about how happy Eunhye must have been feeling then.
"If only that had been me." I said as I looked down at the floor, not caring about where I was heading to, until I bumped into someone. I mumbled an inaudible "sorry" and continued to walk on, as if nothing had happened. However, I stopped dead in my tracks when an all too familiar voice started to resound my name.
"You alright Haein?"
I squeezed my eyes shut and walked on,'Please don't follow me.' I thought to myself, until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and continued looking at the floor,"Yea. I'm alright Chanyeol." I refused to look up and meet his eyes, knowing that doing so would only make him more curious about my already broken state.
"Hae...Haein," Chanyeol stated worriedly,"You're everything but okay." He lifted my head up to face him and suddenly, a wave of calmness washed over me. Unaware of my surroundings, I burst out crying, the tears flowing out like Niagara Falls. "I-h-he-" I stuttered as Chanyeol rubbed my back, brought me to the nearby stairwell and sat there, listening to what I had to say.
After knowing Chanyeol for 3 years since high school started, I'm pretty sure he already knew about my huge crush on Luhan,
