“Hello?” SungMin’s voice echoed down the dark passageway, his each footstep making a distinct sharp noise on the concrete floor. One palm pressed against the slimy moss covered wall, though it disgusted him, kept him from falling. Mostly.
As he stumbled over a loose rock, he paused for a moment to catch his breath and balance and that was when he heard the shuffling. It wasn’t very loud, just a few heavy steps and then a lot of heavy breathing.
“Hello?” SungMin called out tentatively. What did he expect, that the person would reply to him? he held his breath another second, and icy fear began to move through his veins as he heard the same noises as before, accompanied with some groaning this time. Hesitantly, he moved forward.

“This is…” his words trailed off again, and he could barely gesture for SungMin to lean closer. As the older complied, he caught the last dying words said from the last precious breaths of life in DongHae.
“This is your fault.”
“What?” SungMin immediately pulled back to shake the shoulders of his best friend, making blood flow faster from the wound as he eyes closed for the last time.
“What?” SungMin gasped out. On instinct, he looked up and gasped as he saw the figure he had come to dread the most.
