Title - New Friend

She looked up disappointed to find someone she did not recognize.

"Where am I?"

She whispered looking around surprised to find someone leaning against the wall.

"Singapore." the guy smirked as her forehead ceased.

"Don't play games with me. I have no time for the likes of you." she spat and cringe in pain as her head suddenly felt light. She touched her hair and some of it came out.

"The effects are kicking in Ms. You used the 10 months injection didn't you? Also known as the TMI. People who used that might never have a chance to survive. You could either have been dead. Or live for another ten months." he continued," Chances of living are only 20% whilst the remaining 80% dies. 

Noramal people who have not heard of this TMI would think that you only have a few months to live while you actually had 9 more. But given the state you are in, the TMI effects are slowly fading away-"

he got cut offed as he saw Nora's emotionless gaze.

"So. In short, how much longer do I have to live? Nobody alive even knows about the TMI, how do you?" Nora questions with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, I created it. Mr Franklin at your service my beautiful Nora. The only sole survivor of the TMI." he smiled.

While Nora was trying to process all these information, Mr Fraklin smiled gently.

"I thought that you were my only hope Nora, you who fought against fate and lived for another one month with nine to go. But unfortunately, you only left with 3 months maximum."

*Three months?*

Horror struck her. 

" No way. Only three? I can't do anything with just three freaking months! You promised me 10 months! I've only used ONE or nearly two! "

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry ain't gonna help it Frank! You were my father's best friend! I trusted you.I- I can't die. I have so much to do. I still want to see his smile! " she weeped.

"I truely am sorry Nora-ah... But what's done is done I really can't change anything." he muttered and with that, he walked away.

"Sides, Jonghyunnie told me that the guy whom you're living for treats you badly. Why do all this?" he whispered and shut the door shut.

Nora sank her face in her palm as her hair acted as a curtain to shield her from allowing anyone to see her unglamourous face.

The face of a girl, who was so vulnerable right now that you would feel that if you just touched her lightly, she would just break anytime. Tears streamed down her petite face.

Until she heard someone cleared his throat.

"Errrm... Are you okay?" he asked worriedly and sat on the chair next to the bed.

Nora sniffled but remained silent.

It remained like that until she calmed down a while.

"D- Did you hear-"

"Everything." he replied bluntly.

"Ouh. I see," she looked up. "Who are you?"

"A human being just like you." she frowned.

He beamed. 

"Alex Woon at your service." he smiled gently but a little too bright.

"Mine is Nora. Park Nora. Totally not at your service." she joked which managed to somehow lightened up the mood.

They chatted for a while until it was night time when visiting hours were over.

2 weeks had gone past since that incident. Nora returned from Singapore just yesterday and started to regret it.

"You okay Nora?" he asked as he held her hand gently but firmly.

She nodded her head and unconsiously touched her hair.

Few strands of hair came out...

*I only have two more weeks before I really have to go to the hospital...* Nora cringed at the thought and wore her beanie.

*Oh well, I guess I just have to try my hardest now! Fighting!* Nora smiled and mentally did a fist pump.

Myungsoo laid down on the patch of grass at the school fields. He remorsefully touched the bracelet Nora had gotten him when he was younger.

Two weeks of Nora missing.

In two weeks, Chom Mi was dumped.

He changed.

But people no longer harassed him due to his change. 

After two weeks of thinking,he finally realised.

His life would be nothing.

Without that one special girl.

And her name is, Park Nora.

Regretful tears welled up from his eyes but he refused to let them drop. He had his pride. He swore that once Nora was back, he would do everything in his power to win her over.

*Where are you noona-ah....*

Myungsoo sighed and got up, trudgingly moving towards his home econs class.

"Well erm... I had some stuffs going on..." 

His ears perked up at the sound he familiarly knew. 

"NOONA!" 

All eyes turned towards the shaggy looking boy with nerdy glasses.

"M-Myungsoo?" she asked astonished.

"Noona! I'm really sorry for  what happened that day. Also I-"

"So this is the kid you've been telling me about in Singapore huh." a voice spoke.

A figure dress casually yet he managed to shine the brightest,"Alex Woon at your service." grinned perfectly.

Myungsoo stared at the figure who was more or less 10 cm taller than him.

Somehow, he didn't really like that guy A LOT.

He raises an eyebrow and questions,"And the name's Kim Myungsoo. totally not at your service." he smirks.

Alex laughed to Myungsoo's anger.

"What's so funny?"

While Nora just smiled knowingly.
