Mrs. Choi noticed her baby girl with the much older Taecyeon getting close. She trusts her baby to make the right decisions, but she can't help me a protective mama bear who just wants to take care of her baby cub. She trusts Taecyeon with her baby girl. Over the past month, she's had conversations with him about his future plans and goals. They always leave her with the same reaction, impressed.

 

"Umma! How much longer?" asked Victoria.

 

"About another half hour." answered Mr. Choi

 

"Why is it taking forever?" Jenny asked out loud.

 

"Because we're going to our beach house."

 

"Will Jenny's Romeo be there?" asked Victoria.

 

"Yes."

 

"Kya!....Jenny are gonna go see him?" asked Mra. Choi

 

Jenny sat up straight and answered. "No. He's annoying."

 

"Aww c'mon, he always gives you stuff."

 

"I don't like it. He's weird."

 

"No, he's just different."

 

"A 15 year old boy who carries a lizard around is not weird?"

 

"Well, I guess that's a little weird."

 

"What about his collection of dolls?"

 

"They're action figures."

 

"What about his nose whistle?"

 

"Okay, I get it. He's weird."

 

"Halleluya!"

 

 

Jenny POV

Romeo is nowhere near an actual "Romeo". He is the complete definition of weird. He may be sweet and have an awesome library but that's it. Nothing else. He's had a crush for years. We always spend the summers with his family since they own the beach house next to ours.

"I'm bored.....Let's play a game." I said out loud.

 

"What game?" asked Khunnie

 

"Umm...the alphabet game."

 

"Okay."

 

"Cool."

 

"Kay."

 

That kept us busy for the whole time until we arrived at the beach house.

 

We all hopped out of the van and me and Victoria raced to the beach while we left the others by the car.

 

 

We dipped our feet in the water.

 

"It's so warm. Let's go change into our swimsuits."

 

"Last one there is a rotten egg." I yelled running into my beach house.

 

I ran into the house followed by a panting Victoria.

 

"Girls, how's the water."

 

"Amazing!" we said at the same time.

 

"Perfect! Let's hurry and change."

 

We all separated in the house and met up in the living room.

 

I saw unnie in her shorts and her bikini.

 

I'm in my loose floral short cover up dress. Umma and appa are outside conversing.

 

"Should we wait for the guys?" I asked her.

 

"Um. I don't know."

 

"No need to wait, we're here." said Nickhun.

 

"C'mon." said Victoria while dragging him along.

 

"Kaja." said Taec oppa while holding my shoulders and walking behind me.

 

I opened up my GIANT beach towel and layed it out on the sound. I already put sun block inside.

 

Taecyeon stood up on the blanket and took off his shirt. OMG OMG OMG OMG SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA!!!!

 

HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!!

 

"*awkward coughs* Sit you giant. You're blocking the sun."

 

He just chuckled and sat down.

 

"Aren't you gonna take that off." he motioned to my dress.

 

"Uh..yeah."

 

I stood up to get my bag and threw it where I was sitting. I quickly took off the dress and reveled my bikini.

 

I quickly took out my ipod and turned it on. I pressed play and and grabbed my sunglasses. I sat down on the towel and took out a book.

 

 

Taecyeon POV

Dayuumm. She has a really great body. I can't help but to stare at her. I watched as she put on her sunglasses and she sat down.

 

Why in the world does she have a book?

 

"Why did you bring a book?" I asked her.

 

"To read." She said like it was obvious.

 

"I mean, why are you reading, when the water looks great."

 

"I'm to lazy to walk all the way to the shore." Haha I have an idea.

 

"Okay." I stood up and looked down at her. She looked up and looked at me with a confused face.

 

"You asked for it." I told her.

 

I reached for her arm and pulled her up gently. I carried her over my shoulder and walked towards the shore.

 

"YAH!!! OK TAECYEON!!!! PUT ME DOWN!!!!" she yelled in my ear.

 

I stayed quiet and she started to hit my back. Like that hurts.

 

She calmed down and spoke. "I don't like you."

 

"Lighten up.........Get ready."

 

"You better not throw me in."

 

"Okay okay." I put her down about a foot from the shore.

 

"Go on in." I told her.

 

She dipped her toes in, then slowly she went it up until the water reached her knees. "Come in!"

 

I walked to where she was and the she immediately started to splash me. We started a splash war and eventually Khuntoria joined.

 

 

Author POV

It's almost 4PM and everyone is chillin while the adults are out on a walk.

 

"Vic unnie, let's take pictures." Jenny suggeated.

 

"Of what?"

 

"Duh, our tumbling."

 

"Oh yeah. Let's do that now before we forget."

 

Both girls stood up and went to their bags to get their cameras.

 

"You guys can take the pictures." Victoria said.

 

"Alright."

 

They stood up and started to take pictures.

"I'm tired." Jenny whined.

 

"We have enough pictures, go rest." Taecyeon said.

 

"Jagi~~~" Nichkhun started to whisper stuff into Victoria's ears, and she started to giggle.

 

"We're gonna go on a walk." Khun said.

 

"We'll be back." Victoria said. With that, they walked away.

 

"And then there were two." said Taec while sitting back down.

 

"Yup. I wonder when my parents will come back."

 

*beep*

 

To: Baby girl

From: Umma

Honey, me and your father went to visit Romeo's patents. Victoria told me she went for a walk with Khun. Stay with Taec, don't get lost. Love you.

 

"Who was that?"

 

"Umma. Her and appa went to visit Romeo's parents."

 

"When will they be back?"

 

"I don't know. Probably at night. Umma talks alot."

 

"So.........it's just you and me?"

 

"Yup. Why?"

 

"Did you really mean what you said?"

 

"Said what?"

 

"About being like Khuntoria."

 

"Yes."

 

"Jenny?"

 

"Yeah?"

 

"Can I......................................................................kiss you?"

 

"What?!?" she asked completely shocked.

 

"Nevermind." he said quickly.

 

"Oppa....did you....just ask.....if you could....kiss me?" she asked still bewildered.

 

"Umm...y-yes?"

 

"WOW. I can't beleive you just asked me that. You don't have to ask. You could've just done it. I find it weird that you just asked me that."

 

"Are you serious?"

 

"Yeah, I guess."

 

"So, I don't have to ask you?"

 

"Nope."

 

"But, I thought I needed to get permission."

 

"Where did you get that idea?"

 

"I don't know."

 

"You're weird." she said.

 

"I know."

 

She stood up, tied her hair up in a bun, and slipped on her shorts and flip flops.

 

"Where are we going?" he asked.

 

"Back inside, I'm tired of the sun."

 

"Why inside?"

 

"Because inside I can wake up my still sleeping baby. What did you do to her anyway that she's so tired?"

 

"I took her to the gym with me since ahe would whine when I wasn't with her. I put her on the tredmill."

 

"That makes sense. Good thing you did that. She would've been crazy in the water."

 

"That's why I did it."

 

They gathered up their stuff and went inside the beach house. When they walked in they were greeted by a still sleeping Daisy.

 

They put away their stuff and Jenny went to go wake up Daisy. Daisy woke up immediately from her mother's touch and instantly got happy. She started barking hapily, running circles around Jenny, and jumping up and down.

 

Jenny picked her up and brought her to the couch where Taec was.

 

 

Jenny POV

I'm sitting on the couch playing with Daisy. I missed her so much. She's really become my baby.

 

"Jenny?" he called.

 

"Yeah?"

 

"You do know why I haven't, officially asked you out right?"

 

"Yes." How can I not know? It's because of the stupid age difference. I really hate that so much.

 

"You do know that I really like you right?"

 

"Yes~~"

 

"Good."

 

"Taec, why do you like me?"

 

"Why? Because you're an amazing person. You're sweet, honest and caring. You have the moat amazing smile. You have the most beautiful eyes. I love the fact that when I'm with you, I feel like I can do anything. I love that we can talk about anything and everything. I love the way you blush because of me. I love that I always think about you. You show up in my mind all the time. I love that you always see the good in people. I just.....really love you. I couls continue listing things why I love you for hour. It's just that the first time I saw you at the park, I didn't think about if you were way younger than me. I just thought, WOW, I finally met the girl I wanna spend the rest of my life with."

 

OMG. I'm speechless. I just asked him why he liked me. I wasn't expecting a love confession like that. Now I see how he's a great poet.

 

"Say something." he said. What do I say? I don't what to respond to him?

 

"I don't what to say." I honeatly told him.

 

"Okay.....but let me ask you one thing. That day, the first day you saw me, what were your thought?"

 

I decided to answer him honestly. "Well, when I saw you, you were all sad. You don't know how bad I wanted to see you happy, to see you smile. When I got home that night, I prayed for you. I prayed that you would be happy, and if not, that God would give me a chance to make you happy. The next day, I saw you with Nichkhun. You were smiling again. I instantly fell head over heels for your smile. I would think about your smile qhenever I was feeling down. I don't know why I did. You just seemed to find ypur way into my thoughts. Seeing you happy made me happy."

 

He smiled and was about to speak but i stopped him.

 

"But you must know one thing. I wouldn't have confessed to you I hadn't found out something. The day we confessed to each other was the most nerve racking day of my life. My head was filled with so many thoughts. Should I continue talking to him? Should I tell him I didn't mean it? What's gonna happen to us? What will others say about it? What will my parents say? Will I have to give up my happiness? Those were just some of the thoughts that invaded my mind. I was so confused on what to do I prayed to God asking for a sign. I prayed and prayed for hours. When I finally decided to stop I was still confused. But I had a ton of homework so I decided to work on it. As I was searching the internet, a popup came. It said, Be happy. I was like, that's weird. But that kept repeating in my head. When I was about to fall asleep, the whole scene from the lake played in my head. Not just that, but the thoughts I had, came back too. One kept repeating in mind. I want to make him happy forever."

 

"You really thought that?" he asked me.

 

"Would I ever lie to you?"

 

He stared at me.

 

"Stop staring at me, it's uncomfortable."

 

"Jenny....we'll find a way. But for now, let's always treasure the moments we have together."

 

I just nodded and rested my head on his shoulder. He started to play with my hair, and slowly me and Daisy fell asleep.

 

 

Taecyeon POV

Jenny fell asleep and so did Daisy. I'm happy with what she just told me. I love the fact that we're able to talk freely and honestly. It shows that she's not afraid to tell me what's on her mind. Honesty, that's something is very important for me. Thankfully, she's a very honest person so I have no problem.

 

I love having her with me like this, with me. I just love being qith her all cuddly like this. I just wish that we could be like this in public. I honestly I don't know why I keep stressing about this. I've never wanted to be all cuddly with a girl in public before. It's just her. I wanna be able to walk around school holding her hair, kiss her forehead, whisper sweet nothings to her ear and all that coupley stuff. But I can't. She's just too young. We would get weird looks from other people and I don't want her to go through that. She's been through enough already.

 

I felt her get heavier and I heard deep breaths so I knew she just fell asleep for good.

 

I got up from my seat, protecting her haed with my hands and gently placed it on a pillow. I went to a near closet and grabbed a blanket and wrapped her small figure. I kissed her forehead and reached to grab Daisy.

 

I was about to turn and take Daisy, but she held my wrist. I turned to look at her, and saw her eyes all sleepy.

 

"Oppa come here." she said motioning for mw to come closer in a sleepy voice.

 

"What is it cutie?" She quickly gave me a peck on the cheek and slowly laid herself down on the couch and fell back asleep.

 

I held the cheek she kissed with one hand and Daisy in another. I quickly put Disy next to her and they both instantly started to cuddle with her.

 

I rushed into the downstairs bathroom and stared at my reflection. i held the cheek she kissed and once again I can still feel the warmth of her cheeks. I fwlt mt stomach turning into knots, OH GOSH the butterflies.

 

I smiled at myself and finally made a decision about me and her.

 

If I can't be with her in public, I'll have to love her..................................
