Sandara woke up with tasting like rotten fish, and her body as stiff as the stiffest person you could ever think of, which could be probably her. Someone was hovering her, and even though she liked shoving his head off her view because it frustrates her, her arm won’t respond.

“I think she’s already awake.” The person hovering her commented, and Sandara thought, You don’t say.

He had dark brown hair and shiny dark brown orbs. He looked like at the range of twenty nine to thirty two, but looked younger with his milky complexion. His lips twisted downward, and he asked, “What’s your name?”

Sandara tried moving her body, and it worked, but she only managed to sit up. She groaned, wincing and answered, “Sandara Park.”

“Hyung, I heard that name once!” Someone perched in from behind her, his mouth full of food. “They said, parents believed it was the Korean translation for Snow White.”

Sandara looked at her bandaged thigh, and knew from its looks that her wound hasn’t completely fully healed yet. It stings, and she can’t even move her whole leg without wincing.

Still looking at her wound, Sandara asked the man in front of her, “What’s your name?” She groaned again, and finally, looked at him.

“My name is Seven.” He answered, and she raked an eyebrow. Then behind him, six men started to show up to her view. They were lined up according to height, which hasn’t had any difference with each other.

The one with the blonde hair and eye smile introduced himself as Daesung. The one that looks like a panda introduced himself as Seungri. The one wearing a bull cap and headphones introduced himself as Choice. The skinniest one introduced himself as Tablo, and he looked like the oldest. The one beside Tablo, also looked like the oldest was Mithra. And then, the chubbiest one was Psy, who also looked like the silliest of them all.

“What happened?” Sandara asked after their introduction, indulging slowly the whole line of presence of men in front of her. She wasn’t used to it, and it wasn’t the time to hyperventilate.

“We were going home after work when we saw you faint. No one even cared helping you up, and we thought that even if we’re poor we can take care of you.” Tablo answered.

“What happened before that to you, Sandara?” Seven asked her, curiously and with worry. Sandara’s forehead creased and she answered, “I-I escaped from our house, from being locked up. My stepmother had held a party when I did that, and the guards chased me. I sliced the leg of one of them, and I-I…” Her voice trailed off when she remembered how she got her wound. “I cut my gown, and my legs had become more prone to danger. One guard ran a blade at my thigh to slow me down, and because it was cold, I didn’t feel anything. And when I stopped, that’s when I felt the blood that I lost then, I fainted.”

“You need to be brought to a hospital.” Seven said, and was about to say more when an alarm clock started to ring. It was indicated that it’s already five in the afternoon.

“It’s time for work.” Seungri announced, and the group quickly disbanded into separated ways, getting their clothes for work. Daesung was the one who handed out the black shirts while Mithra handed out the black masks.

“We’ll be back.” Seven promised to Sandara, smiling nicely at her and she could only nod for an answer. All seven of them wore their masks and the shirts then, went out, leaving Sandara alone inside the house. She looked around; storing all the furniture she could register in her mind and slowly, stood up on one bent knee.
