Chapter 17: The Aftermath

Snow White and Seven and the Dwarves

“Thanks for the date.” Sandara bowed at Jiyong, and he quickly returned it, with much more grace. She was aware that the seven boys were eavesdropping behind the red door, inside their apartment. Jiyong insisted on walking her up to the apartment’s door, and even though she refused, he still insisted. It was a little bit sweet, boys walking you up to your door and Sandara doesn’t want to sleep late because she’ll remember the sweet things Jiyong had done and said.

“It’s my pleasure.” Jiyong said, smiling sweetly. “So, you want to meet again? Tomorrow?”

Sandara tried to hide the excitement in her voice, and answered, “Sure, tomorrow.”

“I’ll pick you up at ten here at your apartment.” Jiyong said, and raised his hand, still smiling sweetly. “I’ll go now.”

“Bye. Take care on your way home.” Sandara bid, smiling equally as his but deep inside her, she wanted to be kissed, to be hugged or any way of intimacy before he goes away. Maybe because she had fallen already, or she just wanted to be cherished. She didn’t know.

As if her prayers were answered, Jiyong leaned forward to her, closing their gaps to roughly a millimeter. Sandara closed her eyes, anticipation filling her body, which made it warm but instead of her lips, she felt a deep damp on her forehead. When she opened her eyes, Jiyong was smiling at her, still sweetly but there was something in his eyes that she couldn’t figure. He was holding something inside, something much deeper than the kiss.

Sandara wrapped her arms around his neck, and felt his arms also wrapping around her waist, his head resting on her shoulder. After a few moments, she pulled out, and kissed his cheek. Jiyong was bewildered for a moment, but he quickly smiled. His eyes weren’t left unnoticed; he’s still giving nothing away.

Jiyong raised his hand, and finally, walked away. Sandara touched her forehead, smiling to herself and went inside the apartment. It wasn’t locked, so she didn’t have to ring the doorbell.

The boys were waiting in the living room, eating instant ramen and at the same time, bickering about the latest soccer match of Barcelona, except for Seven, who’s standing close to the door, his arms on his hips. He has one eyebrow raised, and his lips lopsided.

“So, when will you tell us?” He asked.

Sandara dropped herself beside Seungri on the couch, and draped her arm around his shoulders. “So,” She prompts. “Did you guys get in?”

“Yeah, yeah.” Seungri answered, his tongue as fast as a horse with his mouth full. “We passed the auditions and will start training next week. Thanks for talking to G-Dragon. He sure has a nice relationship with the president.”

Seven sighed, and sat countering Sandara, crossing his legs, his ankle right on top of his kneecap. “Sandara,” He sighs again. “You can’t go on running from questions.”

The noise died down, and the attention was on the two. Sandara bit her lower lip, and said, “Fine. What do you want to know?”

“You.” Seven answered. “Your life. And your relationship with G-Dragon. You had us for a moment there.”

Sandara took a deep breath, and began to tell her story to them, plus her accident meeting with Jiyong. The time she finished, her neck and her back was strained. and tongue felt sandpaper, and Seungri was gaping at her rather rudely.

“Woah, you’re fighter!” Seungri exclaimed. “I’ll make sure I’m not on your enemies list.”

“So, what do you intend to do with your father’s company?” Seven asked, not interested whatsoever in G-Dragon or Taeyang and the other parts of her stories."You can’t save it unless Michelle Park dies.”

“We can infiltrate the company with the police.” Tablo suggested, twisting his fork with his fingers. “Or sabotage one of their deliveries.”

“But you don’t know how to fight.” Sandara tried to reason out. She’s worried for the safety of her newly found friends, and even though she’s trained to fight when she was a child and had continued training by herself on her spare time, infiltrating a company isn’t one of her things.

“We’re thieves out for revenge for a long time.” Mithra contradicted, leaning on the backrest of the couch countering her. “We have known how to fight because we need to get past their personal body guards with the bit of experienced bouncers.”

“And we have to help you to repay for what you have done for us.” Psy said, and it was new for her to hear him say something nice. “It has been our lifetime dream to be artists.”

“But the company is guarded, has CCTV and the employees are around like hawk.” Sandara reasoned, concerned.

Everyone whined, except for Seven, who’s cupping his chin as he looks up at the ceiling, wiggling his lips to the right and left. After a few moments, his eyes light up and he looked back at Sandara. “I have a plan.” he said, his voice serious and James Bond-like.

Actually, I'm sleepless because I'm suffering from insomnia--sort of. My body radiates too much energy that I can't sleep even if I wanted. -_- Only a few more!
