Chapter 12 - Miracle?

I woke up as the sunlight shone on my face. Covering the sunlight with my hand, I sit up finding myself in the hospital. Then that’s when I remembered… the day Mi Young was going to pass… I turned my head and looked at her sleeping soundly. Seeing her chest pump up and down tells me she is still alive.

I lean my head down to her ear and whispered her name, “Mi Young...”

She groaned and turned her head as her eyes fluttered opened.  She sat up and looked at me with a smile.

“Baekhyun oppa.” She smiled as she called my name.

I embraced her and hugged her tightly. I don’t want her to go… not today…

“I love you Mi Young. I always did and will.” I whispered.

~Mi Young’s POV~

I burst into tears once I heard his sentence. I knew today was the day I was going to die. I don’t want to… I can’t leave him alone in this world.

“I love you too Baekhyun oppa. I always did and will.” I whispered back as I sobbed into his chest.

He broke the hug and looked into my eyes.

“Let’s not cry and enjoy our day okay?” He asked as a tear slipped out of his eye.

“You’re crying too idiot.” I laughed as I wiped his tear with my small hand.

He laughed and removed my hand from his cheek holding it.

“Yes… I’m crying… Because I can’t lose you.” He whispered.

“And I can’t leave you in this world.” I whispered back.

He gave me a long lasting hug. He tried to pull away but I hug him tighter. I don’t want to let him go…

“Let’s stay like this for a while.” I whispered.

He nodded with a smile. We stayed in that position for a long time before I pulled away.

“Do you want something to eat?” He asked.

I nodded. He got off the bed and asked, “What do you want to eat? I’ll get it for you.” He smiled.

“Black bean noodles?” I answered.

“Will do.” He bowed in a ‘formal’ way. “My princess.” He stated which made me giggle.

“I’ll be back in a tick. I love you~” He sang before waving me goodbye and walking out the door.
