~Yoonmi's POV~

 

"I love you."

 

I couldn't help but replay his words over and over again. That night, things became silent and awkward. The rain had cleared up and Suho walked me home.

 

"Yoonmi..." he said, cutting the silence that enveloped them.

 

"Y-Yes?" I stuttered a bit, still nervous from our kiss.

 

"You... Can forget about my confession. I know you have only Sehun in your heart. I'm sorry for burdening you with my confession." he gave a small smile but his eyes showed pain, almost as if he were about to cry. He stared at the ground as he spoke, too scared to look me in the eye.

 

"I-" I was about to stop him but Suho had ran away before I could. I gripped the steel bars of the gate to my house. I cringed. So I was Suho's unrequited love. He was just like me. I'm such a babo! I hurt Suho like Sehun hurt me.

 

I layed in my bed thinking about what happened again. "You... Can forget about my confession." Somewhere in my heart, I didn't want to forget about his confession.I don't know why but his confession didn't burden me. It made my heart feel lighter.

 

My eyes widened and I sat up quickly. Did I love Suho? Is this why I felt sad when Suho wanted to take back his confession?

 

I screamed into my pillow and fell back. My feelings were all mixed up. There was Sehun, the childhood friend I have been crushing on for 13 years. And then there was Suho. My best friend who I told everything to, the person who knew how to make me smile and comfort me in my time of need.

 

"Why are boys so complicated...?"

 

 

 

 

 

I walked to school, taking my time passing by the neighborhood homes. The fresh dew dripping off of the leaves of the trees.

 

Ring RIng Ring

 

I lifted up my head towards the sound of the school bells. 5 minutes until the late bell would ring. I gripped the strap of my backpack tightly. I quickly fastened up my pace and ran towards the school building.

 

"Hey." I jumped from my seat and turned to see Sehun standing awfully close to me.

 

"H-Hey. What are you doing standing here?" I asked, trying to calm down.

 

"You seem so jumpy, are you okay?" Sehun leaned in closer and pulled back his bangs. He rested his forehead against mine.

 

"I-I'm f-fine, really!" I could feel my cheeks start to burn.

 

"Are you sure?" Sehun asked and moved away to study me. "Look, you're completely red and your burning up." Sehun cupped my face in his hands. His hands felt cool and rough. It was comforting but the contact only made my face more flushed.

 

"Really, S-Sehun, I'm fine!" I waved my hands in front of him, hoping to shoo him away before I embarrassed myself. I shifted my gaze away from Sehun and on to the door of the classroom where something caught my eye.

 

"Hi, having fun so early in the morning?" Suho chuckled as he seated himself right next to me.

 

"What? No! We were just-" I scrambled to find the right words. I'm such a babo.

 

"It's fine, you don't have to explain. I was just kidding anyways." Suho ruffled my hair and laughed again.

 

"Suho..."

 

"Hm?" he tilted his head to the side with a smile on his face.

 

"N-Nothing, forget it." I stuttered and fiddled with my fingers on my desk. I was so distracted that I didn't even notice Sehun who was still standing next to me.

 

Hm... There's something odd about these two... He thought, but simply shrugged it off. He hunched down and whispered in my ear. "Let's walk home together today." His warm breath tickled my ear and sent a shiver down my back. I quickly nodded my head and squeezed my hand. 

 

Suho grimaced. I'll only be a friend in her eyes... He thought and shook his head as the teacher walked in the classroom.

 

 

 

 

 

I sat down on the bleachers and watched as everyone else prepared for the volleyball match. I sighed as a figure sat down besides me.

 

"Hi, sweetheart." the figure smiled and moved closer.

 

"Hi, Luhan Oppa." I gave him a small smile.

 

"Why so blue?" he nudged me and looked into the sea of people in their gym uniforms.

 

"I... I don't know if I can hang out with you and the guys anymore."

 

"Waeyo?! Is one of them bullying you? I swear I will beat them up for you if they are-"

 

"No one's bullying me, Oppa." I chuckled softly.

 

"Well if anyone is, just remember to tell me, okay?"

 

"Arraso, Oppa."

 

"Yah! Luhan! Get your over here!" Baekhyun and Chanyeol yelled.

 

"Good. I gotta go now, bye-bye!" Luhan waved good bye and ran towards the two boys.

 

 

 

 

~3rd Person POV~

 

"Look at her... First stealing Sehun Oppa away from me and now flirting with Luhan Oppa." a voice hissed in the distance. "Ugh! I can't stand her!" MInah gripped the volleyball tighter with every word. "Yoonmi this... Yoonmi that... Why is everything about Yoonmi?!" Minah screeched in annoyance under her breath.

 

"Minah! Pass the ball already!" the gym teacher whistled across the gym.

 

"Okay!" Minah smiled and glanced in Yoonmi's direction once more. I'll show her what happens when you flirt around with EXO... Minah sqqeezed the volleyball one last time before sending it flying into the air towards Yoonmi's direction.

 

Hundreds of eyes widened as they watched the volleyball come closer and closer to Yoonmi.

 

"Look out!"

 

"Yoonmi!"

 

Smack!

 

Yoonmi turned her head to see what the commotion was about, only to be faceplanted by a flying volleyball.

 

"Ouch, that has got to hurt." Chen cringed.

 

Yoonmi's eyebrows furrowed and shut her eyes tight. Her head was pounding.

 

"Are you okay?"

 

"Can you hear me? Speak to us, Yoonmi!" Chanyeol cried.

 

"She's not dead, you babo!" Baekhyun smacked Chanyeol's arm.

 

"Ugh... Why are there 3 giants spinning around?" Yoonmi slowly opened her eyes.

 

"Move! You're too close to her face, Chanyeol! Give the girl some space!" Baekhyun pushed Chanyeol out of the way.

 

Ow... My aching head... Yoonmi closed her eyes again and pinched the bridge of her nose.

 

"I'll bring her to the infirmary." A voice said as a pair of strong arms scooped Yoonmi in his warm embrace and walked out of the gym.
