"You are discharged, private Lee. You will leave the training ground today by 1800."

 

The boy didn't care that he was being involuntary discharged from the army. He simpley saluted his officers and walked back to his room.

 

The higher officers shook their heads. They had given him a year to better himself, but the boy brought them nothing but fear. He had no sense of what was wrong or right, no compation. He had no friends; he nearly killed another boy that accidentally bumped into him with his bare hands. No matter what punishment they gave him, he didn't flinch, he had a strong affection for pain.

 

The boy grabbed his luggage, folded all his shirts exactly the same way and ordered them by colors.

 

His lips formed a smile as he got in the truck and steered it toward his hometown.

 

Soojung, he thought, I'm coming home.
