4 months passed like 4 days. The world was spinning too quickly. Rachel sat on her couch after a completely quiet Saturday, wondering if she should do her homework. She decided to put it off until later, and she the TV. She flicked through the channels. News, Documentaries, Cooking Shows, Teen Top.

Wait, Teen Top?

Rachel flicked back to the previous channel, and realised it was Music Core.
“Teen Top!” the MC said.
Rachel turned the volume right up. The music began, and she watched.

She couldn’t find Jonghyun. One of the members started to sing, and Rachel was shocked at the vocal skills.

He wasn’t bad looking either.

None of them were.

“Clap, Mad Man,” they all sang.
Rachel’s eyes were glued to the screen, the choreography was sharp, and all of them were in sync. The song that was named ‘Clap’ ended, and before the lights went out on the stage, she saw Jonghyun. His hair was different, his clothes were different.

He was a completely new person.  She wasn’t sure if she liked it or not, but she knew that she liked the song. And maybe the lead singer as well.

Rachel returned to school the following Monday to hear most of the student body talking about Teen Top.
Seoul and Mizuki walked over to her, looking at her expectantly.
“What?” Rachel asked.
“Did you see it?” Seoul asked.
“The debut? Yeah...” Rachel went red slightly at the image of Teen Top.
“I thought it was pretty good. I think I have eyes on the Rapper.” Seoul grinned, and she placed her hands on her hips.
“Whoa, the guy with the muscles?” Mizuki asked.
Seoul nodded proudly. “Definitely. Touch him, and you’re dead.”
Rachel laughed. “But you haven’t even met them yet!”
Seoul covered her ears. “I don’t need to hear your negative comments!”

Mizuki started to pull Seoul into the school as the bell rang, Rachel following close behind.

After the performance on Television, Rachel hardly saw Changjo at school, due to his performances. The school didn’t have a minimum number of attendance days anyway. The one day that she saw him she had the compelling need to talk to him.

And this time she had a voice.

“Jonghyun,” she said as she stopped at his locker.
“Oh, Rachel. Annyong,” Changjo smiled.
“Annyong! Uh, I saw your performance...”
“What did you think?”
“It was really good. I liked it.”
“Glad to hear. Did you want to eat lunch with me?”

Rachel swallowed, and he smiled again.
“Yeah sure.”

They sat on the same bench that they were on the other day. Changjo was happily eating, while Rachel was hesitant towards her food.
“What’s the matter?” he asked.
She shook her head. “Nothing.”
“Are you sure?”
“You’re not going to be at school much anymore are you?”
“Not really. We still have promotions...”
“So, how are you going to handle everything?”
“I’ll figure it out. I'm not the only one going to school in the group.”
Rachel frowned. Not the only one?
“You won’t drop out will you? Don't rely on fame too much Jonghyun.”
“Thanks, jagiya.”

Rachel froze at his reply.
“Is that sarcasm I hear?” she mumbled.
Changjo chuckled. “Probably, but I’ll never tell you.”
Rachel glared at him, and noticed her number was still on his hand. She pointed at his hand, and raised an eyebrow.
“You still haven’t washed that off?” she asked.
Changjo looked at his hand, her number still written on, but faint.
“I’ve washed my hands, but it doesn’t want to come off,” he joked.
“Seriously?”
“Maybe it doesn’t want to leave? Does Rachel want me to call her?” Changjo couldn’t hold a laugh.

Rachel twisted her lips, and looked the other way.
Changjo looked at her, and moved closer, looking over her shoulder.
“Oh, did I upset you? Mianhae noona.” He laughed again.

Rachel turned her head to glare at him. “Don't you dare bring age into this!”
“You’re three months older than me,” Changjo countered.
“Just call me by my name!”
“Omona, fine I will! Rachel, I'm sorry.”
Rachel nodded in satisfaction. “Gomawo.”
Changjo started eating again, ending their unusual talk.

After a few weeks, Rachel didn’t see Changjo at all, and she started to long for another talk like they had at lunch. She sat on her couch, her mother on the desktop computer. Rachel decided to call him, since she never deleted his number.

How she got it, she didn’t remember.

She hit the call button, and waited.

“YA! PABO! GIVE ME MY PHONE!!” Changjo’s voice could be heard in the background. Rachel frowned, and was about to hang up until she heard another voice.
“Annyeonghaseyo, this is Emotional Voice Niel,” the voice said.
Rachel thought for a moment before replying. “Annyong. Where’s Jonghyun?”
“Jonghyun? Do you mean Changjo?”
“Changjo?” she asked.
“His stage name. What’s yours?”
“My real name?” she asked.
“Yeah.”

Rachel couldn’t help but think he was cute.
“Rachel. It’s Rachel.”
“HYUNG! GIVE ME THE PHONE!” Changjo’s voice was closer than last time.
“Maybe I should go,” Rachel said.
“Okay. Maybe you should come over?”
Rachel’s eyes widened.
“Come over?” she asked.
“You’ll get to meet everyone. What do you say?”
“...I guess?”
“Great. I’ll give you a call.”
“Okay.”

The next thing she heard was dial tone.
