Jae’s POV

I was in total chaos, I’m pacing back and forth at our family room. I was brought here by my guards. I can still remember the unspoken words she had said: I love you, till death do us part. Dara who is she? Uncle Joong Kook and Dad are speaking to each other in hushed tones. Then they faced me.

“I am the one who better explain to you what just happened son, so let’s take a seat first”

We all then sat down

“Uncle what just happened back there? Why did she say that SAVE Prince something whatever. I’m confused right now”

“Sigh, I guess she didn’t tell you. Fine, I guess I’ll tell you first but also hear her side as well. She’s an agent but she’s the Tokki you always knew, she wanted to be an agent since after that day you two were kidnapped” uncle Sparta said

“Ah, what? A spy something like that? Like those in action films?” I asked

“Rest assured son this is her last mission. She told me she had to do this as her last mission. She wants to protect you that badly. When she received this mission S.A.V.E Prince which meant Secure the Alpha Version, escape of Prince, she agreed to it at once. I even asked her if she really was sure if she wants to be the one to you to escape in case something really happened and she said she was very positive. Don’t worry son she’s treated at our facility’s hospital.” Uncle said

“Sigh, I-I-I need to clear my head for a while. Excuse me.” I said after he explained to me what just happened. I then went to my room and lay on my bed. I closed my eyes for a bit then I heard an eerie whisper like Dara’s voice “Joongie I’m sorry, I love you”

I opened my eyes then sat up straight on my bed. Yoochun then barged into my room

“Come on Joongie! Your uncle just went off from his phone. It’s about Dara, she had just gone cardiac arrest in the operating room!”I felt the air gush out of me as I hurriedly ran along with Yoochun to my car. We followed her Dad’s car and upon arriving at the hospital I immediately looked at her mom who was tear streaked speaking to the doctor, her dad rushed and comforted her mom.

“She’s out of harm now, she fought hard and her vitals are steady” the doctor said and I felt relieved

“I know she’s strong but this is a first that happened” TOP appeared beside me I just looked at him.

“We have been partners actually, and sorry if I just told you today and found out about it earlier that I am an agent too” he said smiling

“At least you are honest in telling me that now, but why didn’t she told me?” I said

“That you have to hear from her, I know she has reasons but still you have to hear from her okay? Rest now, I’ll you back your Highness” TOP said smiling as I walked away from the hospital with him trailing me behind.

The next day, I visited Dara in the ICU. She’s still not awake.

“Dara-ah, wake up. I miss you already. I already forgive you for hiding this identity but still I need to know why” I said as I leaned on the glass separating us “Come back baby” I said as I then left,

The next day, Dara was moved into a private suite. The news broke out that the actress who is also the world renowned racer was shot during the racing event. The people were amazed that she finally revealed herself as the mysterious lady racer who won a lot of races. And her fan list grew by now. I then went to her bedside and caressed her pale face. I then sat on the chair. Her bodyguards and mine are outside.

“Dara, I’m getting myself more messed up. I hate figuring things on my own please wake up already” 

I decided to stay in for the night. At dawn I heard someone mumbling and I woke up and went to Dara.

“Dara?” I said

“Wa- wate- water” she mumbled

“Wait I’ll call the nurse first” I then pressed the call button and minutes later the nurse went to our room and then paged for a doctor. The doctor then arrived and assessed her for a bit and then gave her sips of water.
