Jae’s POV

Dara said that I’ll be meeting her parents today as well as her older brother. We then went to their mansion and it seemed to have pretty much heavy security. As expected of their family. Let’s just say for the following reasons: Famous racing couple Sparta and Ace, Sparta’s top leading agency, Ace’s famous coffee shop, Se7en a previous idol who sold millions of records and Dara the top leading lady of the century, now let me ask you who wouldn’t have such high and tight security?

“Daddy’s sunshine is here” she said and the doors opened.

“As expected really” I beamed at her we then went inside then a lady saw us, whom I assume is her mom

“Sunshine!!” her mom said as she stood up from the couch and hugged her. “How are you darling? I see you brought your boyfie here”

“Yes mommy Mongji, how was business?” she asked

“We’ll talk later Sunshine.” She said smiling, an indication for me that it is something very top secret, not that I want to pry either

“Oh, Sunshine, I see you brought your boyfriend here” we looked up and saw her dad descending the stairs. He then approached us. “It is a pleasure to have you here with us boy.” He then held his hand for a shake which I really accepted and shook hands with the ever famous Sparta of the racing field.

“The pleasure of meeting your acquaintance too sir.”

“Aya, nonsense, Su-ro already informed me that you two found each other again. Congratulations and welcome to the family.” He said, my dad and him is surely that close.

“Bwoh? Yah Kim Joong Kook-ah you didn’t tell me! So they are getting married in the future? Kyaa congratulations you two” her mother then hugged us both and Dara just blushed

“Thank you auntie and uncle, I’m very blessed to have her in my life again. I don’t think I can live without her” I said as I smiled and Dara just kept on flushing

“Aigoo, what’s with you being sweet today” Dara then wrapped his tiny arms on my waist. We then sat on the couch when we heard a coughing sound

“Ehem, you seemed to have forgotten me” her brother Se7en said as he held a puppy in his arms

“Oppa! I missed you, kyaa you brought Frei at last! I missed him” her brother then approached us and handed Dara her pup, it’s a Siberian Husky, and it seemed to be missing her as he continuously trying to her. I was chuckling at her childishness as she baby talked with the pup when my attention then went to Se7en as I can feel someone’s deadly gaze on me.

“Hi, nice meeting you, I’m Choi Dong wook well known as Se7en, I’m sure you heard of my name” he then smiled. I can sense he’s really protective of his sister

“A pleasure to meet your acquaintance Se7en, I’m Kim Jaejoong” I said as I smiled at him.

“I like you already dude, treasure my sister well. Once you hurt her, I don’t even care even if you’re a royalty.”

“Oppa! You’re way too over the top” I heard Dara screamed

“Aya, Se7en stop scaring him” her mother, Song Ji Hyo just smiled at me

“So how’s everything at the palace. I kinda missed the old days” her dad then asked me regarding the palace life.

I then answered him from when I arrived at the palace, how the system now works, about the current condition of my parents and a lot of things that I need to catch up with my uncle and auntie. I hear from my dad that he and uncle Joong Kook way go back in college as well as the same case with my mom and aunt Ji Hyo. He was his trusted friend and very protective of the persons whom he cherishes the most meanwhile our mothers were best of friends. Our conversation then continues as we dined throughout dinner and even after dinner.

“Ah, for sure one day I’ll drop by and visit that old man” he said

“True enough uncle” I said, almost running out of words to say.

“Well I guess it’s time he head home for now guys” I then heard Dara said and I glanced at my watch and it was already 11pm.

“Drop by again soon dude; I already like you, keke” Se7en said. He’s a nice person, in fact he was just kidding around with me earlier with the threat but he definitely is overly protective of his sister and I don’t even want to imagine what happened to the guys who hurted her. The guys whom Dara told me about. Well the past is past anyways so let’s not dwell on that.

“We surely will welcome you with open arms” her mother said as she hugged me

“I sure will do auntie. Thank you for today” I said

“Come, I’ll see you off. Your convoy is already here” Dara said and I entwined my hands with her as we walked to their house’s main entrance.

“Don’t forget to eat meals on time. Get enough rest and be sure to update me with your activities, okay?” Dara said as she hugged me

“Of course princess” I said as I kissed her forehead.

“Have a safe trip home, sleep well tonight my loves.” Dara then smiled, I then pecked her lips before entering my car and headed home. It will be hard to be away from her from now on as I’ll be busy doing my part as the crowned prince. But for sure, we’ll keep on loving each other no matter what happens.
