Dara’s POV

So today he’ll finally reunite with my mom and dad, I really hope they won’t spill the beans on me as I have requested them that I should be the one telling him that alter ego of mine. I looked at jae as he observed our vicinity. Who would be agape seeing our tight security?

“Your place is just really awesome” he said

Access denied. Voice unconfirmed please try again you have, 2 chances left till lockdown.

“Daddy’s sunshine is here” I said and the doors opened. I forgot to mention to him that we use voice recognition around the house.

Access granted, welcome home dearest Sunshine and have a good day dear guest.

“As expected really” he beamed at me, we then went inside then mom saw us, I really missed her

“Sunshine!!” she said as she stood up from the couch and hugged me. “How are you darling? I see you brought your boyfie here” I then felt blushing from her comment

“Yes mommy Mongji, how was business?” I asked

“We’ll talk later Sunshine.” She said smiling, an indication for me that it is something very top secret, classified period.

“Oh, Sunshine, I see you brought your boyfriend here” we looked up and saw dad descending the stairs. He then approached us. “It is a pleasure to have you here with us boy.” He then held his hand for a shake which Jae really accepted and shook hands. I even remembered him saying he’s a fan of Dad, he must be happy with have a handshake with the ever famous Sparta of the racing field and soon to be father-in-law, Kyaa what am I thinking mehehe.

“The pleasure of meeting your acquaintance too sir.” Jae politely said

“Aya, nonsense, Su-ro already informed me that you two found each other again. Congratulations and welcome to the family.” He said, my dad and his must surely be that close.

“Bwoh? Yah Kim Joong Kook-ah you didn’t tell me! So they are getting married in the future? Kyaa congratulations you two” my mom then bursted out and hugged us both after which earned another blushing round for me which Jae noted.

“Thank you auntie and uncle, I’m very blessed to have her in my life again. I don’t think I can live without her” Jae said as he smiled at me and I just kept on flushing

“Aigoo, what’s with you being sweet today” I then wrapped my tiny arms on his waist. We then sat on the couch when we heard a coughing sound

“Ehem, you seemed to have forgotten me” my brother Se7en said as he held a puppy in his arms

“Oppa! I missed you, kyaa you brought Frei at last! I missed him” he then approached us and handed me Frei, it seemed to be missing me as he continuously tried to my face.

“Frei, my baby, did you miss mommy. Aigoo I’m sorry for not taking care of you recently” I then baby talked to him while observing Jae & Se7en oppa

He was chuckling at me as I baby talked with the pup and then I sensed Se7en oppa glaring at him.

“Hi, nice meeting you, I’m Choi Dong wook well known as Se7en, I’m sure you heard of my name” he then smiled. Here goes my overprotective brother, aigoo

“A pleasure to meet your acquaintance Se7en, I’m Kim Jaejoong” Jae said as he smiled at him.

“I like you already dude, treasure my sister well. Once you hurt her, I don’t even care even if you’re a royalty.” Oppa threatened

“Oppa! You’re way too over the top” I said as I pouted

“Aya, Se7en stop scaring him” mom said as she smiled at Jae

“So how’s everything at the palace. I kinda missed the old days” dad then asked Jae regarding the palace life.

Jae then answered dad, narrating the details from what he did while away from palace life, enjoying what he did for the freedom he had for a while before assuming responsibility, they even talked about racing and Jae admitting he was a fan of Sparta which earned a chuckle from my mom and so on. He really did buy time on catching up with them while Se7en oppa and I were just listening to him as well. Our conversation then continues as we dined throughout dinner and even after dinner.

“Ah, for sure one day I’ll drop by and visit that old man” dad said

“True enough uncle” Jae said, I can sense he’s already out of words to say.

“Well I guess it’s time he head home for now guys” I then said and he glanced at the watch and it was already 11pm.

“Drop by again soon dude; I already like you, keke” Se7en said. Oppa is a nice person, in fact he was just kidding around with Jae earlier with the threat as what he did to my other suitors before and some really eventually backed out seriously.  But he definitely is overly protective of me and I don’t even want to imagine what happened to the guys who hurted me, well the past is past anyways so let’s not dwell on that.

“We surely will welcome you with open arms” mom said as she hugged Jae

“I sure will do auntie. Thank you for today” he said

“Come, I’ll see you off. Your convoy is already here” I said and he entwined my hands with mind as we walked to our house’s main entrance.

“Don’t forget to eat meals on time. Get enough rest and be sure to update me with your activities, okay?” I said as I hugged him, inhaling his scent

“Of course princess” he said as he kissed my forehead.

“Have a safe trip home, sleep well tonight my loves.” I then smiled; he then pecked my lips before entering his car and headed home. Things will be difficult from now on as he’ll be busy doing my part as the crowned prince. But for sure, we’ll keep on loving each other no matter what happens. I then turned the to the dragon statue beside me and pointed at it

“You’re so all busted, you sneaky little family.” I said and entered the mansion and I then looked at my family acting normally as if they hadn’t snooped me

“Yah! Cut the act out you little snoopies” I then sat at the couch and mom squeled as she approached me.

“Kyaa that’s so sweet” we then giggled. Trust me we are completely childish

“Tsk, stealing a kiss eh.” Oppa then teased me

“Aigoo oppa”

“So regarding that incident you reported a while back, we have uncovered some nasty evidences that they are indeed targeting the royals, we don’t know whom specifically.” Dad said.

“I’m suspecting it had to do someone within the former workers  at the palace” mom voiced out “Remember that your old friend had some kind of attitude, thanks to Hyori he lessened it down” mom said. Dad and Uncle Su-ro are best buds as same as with mom and aunt Hyori. My Dad by the way has somewhat a royal blood so he was able to serve the palace as well.

“But nonetheless we should very careful, I also investigated that part. I’m positive they’ll attack on a crowded event, let’s say, if my calculations are correct, this racing event this December” oppa said, he's a specialist when it comes to tactics and special ops.

“Damn” I voiced, oops my dad is against me cursing

“Yah sunshine don’t curse, you surely inherited that from your mom keke” joked making the serious conversation to us being childish again

“Yah” mom playfully slapped dad’s arm as my oppa and I chuckled at their antics

“Anyways, I’ll reveal my true identity this December.”

“Wait, which identity?” upon realizing she then added Are you sure?” mom said

“I’m positive mom, I can’t possibly hide this forever.” I then sighed

“Good luck on that sunshine” Dad said as he smiled at me

“We’ll always be there for you” oppa said

I then smiled at them and we then talked about random stuffs forgetting what we had just discussed earlier.
