Super Junior Members huddle up. Donghae is in the middle without his phone.

 

Siwon: How?

Shindong: English time?

Siwon: Who is she?

Donghae: Nugu? (Who)

Eunhyuk unlocks Donghae's phone and reads a message.

 

Eunhyuk:  You like cheese?

 

The rest of the Super Junior members look in confusion.

 

It was just a joke. Eunhyuk accidentally typed cheese on the phone's browser. Siwon takes the phone and looks at the call log.

 

Siwon: ______ Bufi. Oh, America!

Sungmin: Oh, English. Aiden Lee.

Donghae: Yah!

Siwon: Does she call you Aiden?

Yesung: (takes the phone) Ani. Donghae (reading the messages)

Eunhyuk: Read all.

 

Yesung scrolls down to and sees that the messages has been going on for longer than they realized.

 

Yesung: Wau! Geuneun jeongmal yeong-eoro daehwa seubnida. (Whoa! He was really talking in English)

Eunhyu: Jeongmal? (takes the phone and reads a message) Oppa effect.

Donghae: Yah! (snatches the phone from him)

Siwon: I really didn't notice.

Henry: I did. But I thought, everyone else did.

Siwon: What?

Donghae: Geunyang honja naebdugo. (Just leave me alone)

Eunhyuk: Why? I want to meet this girl? Yes, she's a girl. Not child?

Siwon: What? (smiling at Eunhyuk)

Henry: She's the girl from the van.

Siwon: What van?

Henry: Donghae-hyung's cousin's bestfriend from LA.

 

Back in America--- You wake up at 3 in the morning to a call from Donghae.

 

You: (smile) Hey you! Did you miss me already?

Eunhyuk: Hello. This is Super Junior Eunhyuk.

You: Huh? (checks the caller id) Donghae?

Eunhyuk: No, this is Super Junior Eunhyuk. Lee Hyukjae.

You: Hi, (smiles) jae.

Eunhyuk: Jae? (smiles) Oh, hi.

You: (smiles) Hey.

Siwon: Hi, this is Siwon Choi. What's your name?

You: I'm _____ Bufi. Nice to meet you.

Siwon: Are you Korean?

You: No, I'm other stuff.

Henry: Hello, This is Henry. Wait what? Oh, what's the other stuff?

You: Hello. Huh?

Henry: The other stuff. Are you Chinese?

You: a little.

Henry: Oh, what else?

You: Um, Spanish, Filipino, Turkish. That's what I know so far but, I think there's more.

Ryeowook: Ni hui shuo zhongwen ma? (Do you speak Chinese?)

You: No, I'm sorry. I mean, I was told I used to when I was younger but, no. Not anymore.

Henry: But you understood that?

You: You asked me if I speak Chinese right?

Henry: Yeah. Well, not me but yeah.

You: What?

Siwon: Okay, here's Donghae Oppa.

You: (smiles) Donghae Oppa?

Donghae: (smiles) Oh! You called me Oppa?

You: (smiling) No. I was just repeating what he said.

Donghae: (smiling) Why?

You: (smiling) Because I was surprised to hear it. That's all.

Donghae: (smiles) No.

You: (smiling) What no?

Donghae:(smiles) Yes.

You:(smiling) What?

Donghae: (smiles) Nothing.

You: (smiling) Seriously, what time is it there? (yawns)

Donghae: Oh, sorry. It must be really late there.

You: No, it's fine. I'm glad you called.

 

Soon you hear cheering and teasing in the background.

 

Donghae: (smiles) Are you busy now?

You: No. Just woke up. How about you?

Donghae: Everyone is just waiting to be called. We have a performance soon.

You: I know you'll do great. Um? Am I on speaker?

Donghae: No more.

You: I'm not anymore?

Donghae: No.

You: Okay. well, good luck later. I wish I could watch. But then again. I'll just wait a few hours and someone will upload it in youtube.

Donghae: (smiles) Yeah.

You: well, you should get ready.

Donghae: Okay.

You: Well, I'll talk to you soon.

Donghae: Okay.

You: You'll call me?

Donghae: You'll wait?

You: (smiles) Always.

Donghae: (smiles) Okay, bye

You: take care God Bless, keep safe and stay healthy.

Donghae: Stay warm.

You: (smiles) alright, bye (hangs up)

 

His friends just called me. That was insane. How in the world? And, I got to talk to him too. Wait, did they think that we were something? I wonder what he told them, That was strange. Oh yeah, I should call Oma and ask her if she's all ready to be back home.

 

You dial Mrs. Kim's cell phone number.

You: Hello, Oma?

Mr. Kim: Huh?

You: Oh, Mr. Kim. Hello there. This is _____ Bufi from LA. I don't know if you still remember me.

Mr. Kim: _______?

You: Yeah, Dongmin's

Mr. KIm: (cuts you in) Dongmin's girlfriend!

 

You couldn't speak. That was so sudden. What did you expect? What could you expect? Just then, Mrs. Kim takes the phone.

 

Mrs. Kim: Ttal.

You: (gulps) Oma.

Mrs. Kim: Checking up on me?

You: (smiles) Yeah. Are you about ready to be back home?

Mrs. Kim: Yeah.

You: It's a shame that you're only going to be here for 2 weeks.

Mrs. Kim: I know. You should stay at our house during our visit.

You: Huh?

Mrs. Kim: Will you be busy?

You: Um, well, I work 5 times a week so, I won't always be around.

Mrs. Kim: It's okay. I just want to see you as much as I can.

You: Okay then. (smiles)

Mrs. Kim: (smiles) It's settled then.

 

 

You planned a sort of vacation with the Kims. It was good. You have a lot of jobs. Yes. A lot! You work part time in the lab, part time as a babysitter and part time in the mall. Yes, you manage. You're the type of person who likes work so, it's fine. Anyway, today you have your babysitting job

 

 

The baby's mom left the baby with you for too long. Again. It's fine because you LOVE children. Plus, the baby is all about Super Junior.  You put him to sleep with Super Junior songs. The baby even starts calling you Eomma! Yes, 50 hours together in a week. It's not a surprise the baby feels so close to you.

 

 

Just then, you get a phone cal. Of course,once you answer the call the song stops. which means the baby starts crying again.

 

You: Hello?

Donghae: You have a baby?

You: Hold on! (picks up the baby and gets back to the call) Yeah? (dancing with the baby)

Donghae: Are you babysitting?

You: Yeah, he was listening to your songs. Can you sing him to sleep?

Donghae: (smiles) Huh?

You: Yes. Please, I'm tired. I've been varrying him for 5 straight hours and he only took 2 15 minute naps.

Donghae: Okay.

You: (smiles) Really?

Donghae: Yeah. What song?

You: well, when you called, it was Just like now. You can start from the beginning. He loves that song.

Donghae: (smiles) And you?

You: Of course he loved it because of me (smiling)

 

Donghae starts singing the song. You forget it wasn't being sung live so, you sing along. He smiles as he sings with you.

 

In Korea... The Super Junior Members arrive and sneaks up on Donghae. They all smile as he sings into his phone.

 

Siwon: Tsk tsk. (smiles)

 

As Donghae ends the song, the members all run to him.

 

Siwon: Hi ________.

Ryeowook: You love that song too?

Henry: Oh you two (smiling)

 

You smile at all of them but the baby is starting to wake again.

 

You: (whispering) 'm sorry, the baby is waking. I need to put him to sleep so I can put him down.

Siwon: Oh, so Hae was singing to a baby.

SUPER JUNIOR: WHAT? BABY?
 

Just then the baby wakes up and starts crying. You hear Donghae tell the guys something but you couldn't make out the words. Just then, you hear  SUPER JUNIOR  M singing  "Break down"

I swear, it sounds WAY better Live.. It's awesome with all the music but hearing it upclose and just for you, (well the baby) so, sort of for you. You can't help but smile. :) You're smiling now too aren't you? :)

 

And look at that, the baby is fast asleep.  You put him down and slowly leave the livingroom.

 

You: (smiles) Thank you!

Donghae:Shhh!  It's okay. we have to go now.

You: (smiles) Okay, take care God Bless keep safe and stay healthy, I love you.

Donghae: What?

You: Oh, I'm sorry. I just got off the phone with my parents earlier.

Donghae: (smiles) Okay.

You: Okay?

Donghae: Yeah (smiling)

You: What?

 

Just then Monique arrives and surprises you.

 

You: (in a hurry) Take care God Bless keep safe and stay healthy, I love you. (hangs up) Oh no!

Monique: What?

You:I just told Aiden "I love you" twice

Monique: Oh, wow!

You: Because of you!

Monique: No, it's because of you. You've been talking to him for so long and you haven't even introduced him to the family.

You: What? No.

Monique: Everytime I look up Aiden Lee online. Super Junior's Donghae shows up. And I know for sure, that's not him.

You: I guess you need to do some more research.

Monique: Just tell me. I hear your conversations. I even recorded it once.

You: What?

Monique: Yeah! Listen. (takes her tablet and lets you hear a recording)

 

It was kind of blurry in terms of hearing. Of course! But yeah. All the sentences you made out were. "You're a skinny boy. Go eat"

 "What?" "take care God Bless keep safe stay healthy" "You need to take care of yourself" "Funny!"

 

You: Oh my gosh.

Monique: That's not all. When you locked yourself in the closet. I accidentally but luckily recordedhis voice.

You: What?

 

You hear him laughing and saying, "I know I know" as he smiled.

 

You remember it was the time when you two were video chatting. Yes, you locked yourself in the closet, Haha!

 

Oh no. Maybe I should tell her already. But, it's better if she guesses it herself. No, it's crazy. Who's going to believe me? I've been talking to Donghae Lee from Super Junior. See, even I find it hard to believe sometimes. I hope I get the courage to tell the people I love. Because, I think I'm starting to like him. Not as a celebrity. But him as a person. Someone who can relate to me, and who I can relate to. He lost his Dad. I lost my Twin. And another thing. Yeah, we're childish. Sometimes people find it annoying but, that's our way of coping, grieving. I was super serious before Kimberley passed on, Now, I'm choding ** And, I don't know if people will buy it but, when Donghae and I have a conversation. It's really serious. We're ourselves with one another. Maybe this whole, I'll marry a super star, pop star, actor, celebrity, whatever. I'm done with that. From Jesse McCartney, Nick Jonas, Logan Lerman, Tyler Hoechlin, Jun Matsumoto. Yeah, I love celebrities but this time. I like someone, Not the hottest guy in school but, a regular guy. A guy who makes me laugh and makes me feel good about myself. I can cry in front of him but, I never need to. Oh my gosh.

 

You: I think I like him.

Monique: Like who?

You: Huh?

Monique: You were looking blankly in the wall and said (tries to copy what you did) I think I like him.

You: What?

Monique: Yeah. Ooooh, is it Aiden Lee, Ooohh, Mrs. Aiden Lee,

You: You know what? I'm going home.

Monique: Ate ____, wait!

 

Oh my gosh! You're in BIG trouble.

 

 

Donghae smiles as he sits down with his phone. Henry sits next to him.

 

Donghae: She said I love you.

Henry: That's great.

Donghae: Two times (smiling)

Henry: But Hyung, she could love you like everybody else. For you.

Donghae: Yeah?

Henry: You know what I mean. Because you're famous.

Donghae: No. She likes me regardless.

Henry: I hope so.

 

 

 

You stare up at the ceiling from your bed.

 

You: You're up there. Even if I do tell you I like you. It won't sound right. Like I'm using you or, (sigh) This is crazy. I guess. This should stop. I can't have people think of me that way. If you don't call me tomorrow. It means nothing.

 

The next day came. The whole day passed and not even one missed call or an empty text. Nothing. Not a single hello, From Dong Hae Lee.
