A lot has happened since you went to Korea. You started changing as a Person when you started dating. And it wasn't a good change. Having that said, your focus in life shifted from goals to friends and fun.

Kimberley was getting sick. You weren't ever around so, you never noticed.

When she passed away, your everything started to crumble. You lost your friends.

All they knew was fun. Since then, you knew nothing.

Nothing seemed to matter anymore. You tried to rebel. You even left the country for 3 days just because.

For a month, you refused to speak to your parents. You avoided everyone. Especially your studies.

Your parents couldn't take anymore of your nonsense. So, they shipped you abroad.

You found peace in the Church. You'd try and visit as much as you could. It helped you clear your mind.

 

One day, you open your laptop and type in "Awesome" That made you remember the times when you would call yourself awesome in front of your twin. She always smiled when you did that. Oh, that smile. If only it could come back. But you know it too. Her smile is gone. She's gone. And she's never coming back.

 

You hit "backspace" and typed the word "Super" The opposite of how you're really feeling. You just stare at the screen. Nothing happened. You then notice something blinking on the bottom left of the screen. IM messages waiting to be read.

 

You know the contents are unimportant so you log out. You then decide to log into your old accounts. You can't seem to remember your passwords. You changed them more than you really should've.

 

Super Junior M arrives safely in Korea.

Henry: Kaishi!

Donghae: Kaishi?

Henry: Yup. That's the word you were looking for. RIght Hyung?

 

Dongmin meets the Super Junior Members halfway.

Henry: Hey Men, it's been awhile.

Dongmin: I know, man? I haven't even seen my own cousin for almost a year.

 

Dongmin's cell phone rings as they all head out. Fans are screaming as they walk on by.

 

Dongmin: Hello? (trying to hear the caller) Hello? Can you hear me?

_______: Bell? Can you hear me?

Dongmin: _______! I can't hear you!

 

A few seconds later, the call gets cut off.

 

Inside the van, Donghae notices Dongmin's worried expression.

 

Donghae: Dongmin-ah, museun ir-iya? (what's wrong?)

Dongmin: Ha? Oh, Something about _______.

Henry: Who's ___________?

Eunhyuk: ____________!

Donghae: Ara? (You know?)

Eunhyuk: Ani. (No)

Donghae: Dongmin-ah, (takes his cellphone and copies the number to his phone)

It was easy. Just type in her number and oh, look. She has the same app as me. We can videochat. So, I invite her to a videochat. I don't know if she'll remember me or know by my screen name but, here it goes.

Donghae waits for you to pick up.

 

 

You receive an invitation for video chat. You let it ring awhile seeing, the username and number isn't familiar to you. A few rings later, you pick up.

 

You: Who is this? (You're surprised when you see some members of Super Junior from the screen) Um?

Donghae: Hi! we are Super Junior

Super Junior M: M!

 

The Members look just as confused as they were continuing the greeting. Donghae smiles and waves at you. You couldn't help but smile back.

 

You: Hi, nice to see you again. (smiles)

Dongmin: (grabs the phone from Donghae) ____!

You: Hey!

Dongmin: Hey. What happened?

You: Kimberley. She passed away 2 years ago.

Dongmin: What?

Donghae: What?

You: Yeah. This is my number. So, I'll wait for your call. I have to go. I'm moving again.

Dongmin: Again? To where?

You: I'm going back to the US. I'm going back home.

Dongmin: Wait, what? I thought you were home.

You: I thought I was too. I'll wait for your call. Bye guys. Thanks for calling (A tear falls from your eye exactly right after you hang up)

Donghae: She's crying.

Dongmin: I can't believe she didn't tell me. Maybe that's why she's been so distant.

 

 

The next day, You and Dongmin videochats.

 

Dongmin: Just this once. We'll forget about the sad stuff and laugh like there's no tomorrow.

You: Sure!

Dongmin: Ha hahahahahahah!

You: (smiles) That wasn't called for.

Dongmin: (Smiles) There you go. There's that smile of yours.

You: Thanks (Smiles back)

 

12 minutes of straight up laughter passes by....

 

Dongmin: So you finally had a boyfriend?

You: 3!

Dongmin: And I thought you were like a guy

You: A guy?.

Dongmin: Yeah, that wasn't funny.

You: (smiles) Thanks for trying to make me smile. Even though you're not so good at it. At least you try (smiling)

Dongmin: Hey! (smiling) Let's see. The only one I could think of is  my cousin. You both like writing, singing, dancing, making people laugh and smile. You both love kids and soccer. You're perfect.

You: I'm perfect?

Dongmin: No. Actually, you're both imperfect. But together. Pefect.

You: Are you trying to set me up with your cousin?

Dongmin: No. You're not his type.

You: What? That hurts!

Dongmin: I didn't mean it that way. But, everything I said are real.

You: About us being perfect for each other?

Dongmin: Yeah. You're actually more similar to each other than I thought.

You: And the not his type?

Dongmin: He likes tall skinny, light skinned, flawless skin

You: (cuts him off) A Model?

Dongmin: Yeah! That sounds about right.

You: A Korean Model. Okay. Hey, I just realized something.

Dongmin: What is it?

You: Your cousin is really cute.

Dongmin: I know. You told us.

You: Us?

Dongmin: Yeah! Almost 3 years ago.

 

 

FLASHBACK--- in Dongmin's car almost 3 years ago---

Donghae: Nice to meet you (takes his hand out)

Kimberley: (looks at you then shakes Donghae's hand) I'm Kimberley Bufi.

You: (with a straight face) Oh, you're cute.

Donghae: (smiles) Thank you.

---END OF FLASHBACK---

 

After the 56 minute videochat with Dongmin, you search on the internet for "Lee Donghae". A smile is formed on your face. You say his name twice and all of a sudden your phone starts ringing.

 

Oh no. My genius button was on listening mode. It's alright. He won't answer anyways. I'll just end it, right now.

 

Donghae: (smiling after answering the videochat) Hello.

You: (suprised) Hello (a smile naturally appears)

Donghae: How are you?

You: Me? Oh, uh. (clears throat) I'm good. How about yourself?

Donghae: Good (smiling)

You: That's good (couldn't help but smile back)

Donghae: Um,

You: Oh, I talked to Dongmin.

Donghae: (smiling) Yeah?

You: I told him I was going to marry you someday.

Eunhyuk: (Heading his way) Donghae-ya!

Donghae: (Smiling at the screen) What?

You: Oh, because we have so many things in common. Like, writing, singing, dancing, composing, children and soccer.

Donghae: (smiling) Really?

You: (blushes) Um, I should go. They're calling you now.

Donghae: Okay (smiling)

 

You hang up and tum for your bed. Looking cool was a Major Epic fail.

 

Donghae: (smiling) Writing, singing, dancing, composing, children and soccer!

Eunhyuk: Hm?

 

I'm going to marry you someday :)
