I told Zico all my past with Woong, about how he used to beat me senseless for doing the littlest things like: not bringing his food fast enough, going anywhere near a male -any male, even little boys or the elderly-, not making the bed and silly like that. I told him how he made me distant from my mum for most of the time we were together, because she knew he was abusing me and she wanted me to break up with him.

In a week I was fine, ribs were sorta healed, enough for me to go to school, but when I got home Halmeoni nearly broke them again cuz she squeezed me so tight, when I settled Halmeoni, Onew, Taemin and Key (he didn’t bring up what happened last time thank God), bombarded me with questions. I lied and said that a I was mugged and a friend of mine took care of me, they asked why I couldn’t come home and I said that they wanted to make sure I was perfectly fine before going home.

I came to school a week later, the day before the competition, as soon as I entered school, people started whispering, I rolled my eyes, clearly they have nothing to do but gossip.

When I got to my classroom Woong wasn’t there, thank god, I sat down at my desk and puffed out my rested my head on my palm, but soon enough Zelo burst into the classroom, “Noona!” he cried and enveloped me in a hug, I winced but smiled, “Hey Zelo,” I greeted, Zelo sat in the chair next to me a pouted, “Why was Noona not in for a whole week? Was Noona sick? Zelo was worried,” He questioned, I nodded, “Yeah, Noona was sick Zelo, but I’m all better now, and if you were worried why didn’t you ring me?” Zelo’s face turned a light shade of pink, “Oh yeah…” he rubbed his neck sheepishly, “Doesn’t matter! Noona’s back now, but I gotta go now, the bell’s gunna ring, so I’ll see you at lunch Noona!” Zelo called out as he walked to the door waving, I waved back but stopped when Woong walked in, I put my arm down as the bell rang. I hope to ing God Woong didn’t see that.

There wasn’t much to do in the day, everyone was made to practice for tomorrow, we can go home for lunch, but mostly everyone stayed.

Anyway I was walking down the hall to the canteen when I was yanked down onto the floor by my hair, Woong stood over me looking angry, “Who the was that kid this morning?” he growled, I narrowed my eyes at him, “As you said, he’s a kid, so why the do you care?” I spat, he slapped me across the face and knelt down in front of me, “I care because I’m your ing boyfriend and you shouldn’t be talking to any guys except me,” I clenched my jaw, seething with anger, “Yuh know what? Haul yuh mudda ! I tiard of yuh yuh nuh!” I yelled, I pushed him to the floor and got on top of him, I pounded my fists into his face, “I ain’t takin’ yuh no moore,” I said, my fist hitting his face with every word. I stopped when I saw that he couldn’t move, his face was a bloody and swelling but he was still conscious, “I shoulda listen to me mudda a long time ago and left yuh ,” I said looking down at him, panting.

It's over. For good this time.

I felt light, I felt better than I have in a while. I looked up and saw that a group of boys had witnessed the whole thing, they looked shocked and confused, confused because I was talking in english the whole time and shocked because I just ed up my ex’s face. I smiled at them and waved, “Take him to the infirmary would ya?” I said in korean, they said nothing and nodded quickly, but made no actual move to help him, I guess they saw what Woong did too.

I turned around to leave when I overheard one of them say, “See that, that’s why I love her,”

 My eyebrows knitted in confusion, Wait....what?

“Uh-huh you say you love her but you don’t have the balls to talk to her. You are an Kai,” I heard another one say.
