I to my side and my eyes opened when pain shot up my side. I hissed in pain and rolled onto my back, I struggled to sit up, but when I did I started to panic; I wasn’t anywhere I recognised. But damn I feel like .

I leaned back on the pillow I was laying on and assessed my injuries, I lifted my left hand and felt around my face: I had a split lip, my right eye was swollen closed, I had a cut on my right eyebrow, and most of my face was bruised and had it’d own heart beat. And by the amount of pain my torso is in, most of my ribs were broken.

I sighed, I’ve had worse

My eyes darted to the door when I heard it creek open, I mentally smiled as I saw Zico’s head pop through the crack, “Good, you’re awake, now you can tell me why the I found you beaten in an alley by my dorm,” He said before entering the room and sitting at the bottom of the bed.

I sighed, “Do I have to?” I complained, he glared at me, “Yes,”

“Would you believe me if I said I was mugged?”

He thought about it, “No.”

“Okay, fine, it was my ex,” I said slowly, his eyes darkened, “Your ex did that to you? Are you ing joking?” I gulped, he looks more pissed than I thought, “Can you walk?” He asked, visually trying to calm down.

“I can, but it’ll hurt,” I said, I know from experience

Zico piggybacked me to the studio in his dorm, why he had a studio in his dorm I dunno, he just did.

He said he didn’t want me to hurt more than I have to so he’s gunna piggyback me everywhere, -_- Not like I’m guuna argue or anything…cuz I kinda liked it.

Anyway, he set me down on a stool in the studio booth in front of a professional microphone, I looked up at Zico, “What am I doing here?” I asked, he patted my head and responded, “You express better with music right?” I nodded, “Well, now you have the means to do so, so do your thing baby girl,”

He walked out of the room and it hit me, he just called me baby girl…he gave me a nickname…I like it. Zico’s voice sounded from the speakers, “I’mma play some music, start when you like,” I put on the headphones hanging of the microphone and gave him a thumbs up.

I stopped and the music faded out, “Wow…just…wow, I was expecting you to sing or some , but goddamn your rapping is better that Kyung’s or P.O’s,” I heard Zico say through the speakers, I smiled a bit, “Thanks Zico,”

He came into the booth and sat on the floor in front of me, “You gunna tell me why your ex did this to you?” He asked, I sighed but nodded.

Get ready for a long story.

“Okay, well this time it was because he tried to have with me in the alley, I tried to stop him, obviously but also I was on my reds and I knew he would switch up over something like that, but as usual, he didn’t listen to me. He stuck his hand down my pants and then he realised and he went nuts, he punched me three or four times in the face and told me I was disgusting, I collapsed on my side he started to kick at my ribs, then he spat on me.” I told him, emotionless, I saw Zico’s eye twitching in anger, he had his jaw and hands clenched tight. I softened, wincing I knelt down in front of him, I put my palms on his hands.

“It’s okay Zico, it doesn’t even hurt. I’m used to this,” I said gently, I looked in his eyes and anger was burning fiercely in them, “That’s not the ing point! The point is no-one should be treated like that, no-one. You shouldn’t have to be used to that abuse.” Zico growled, I flinched alittle but stayed silent, his face then twisted in confusion, “What do you mean you’re used to this?” he questioned.

I bit my lip, “We were together a year and a half before I moved here, and he started abusing me 2 months after I became his girlfriend, and I couldn’t really go anywhere because he had gotten me pregnant, and god ing knows, me and my mama didn’t have no money for no baby. He was a rich bastard, so the support would have been great, and I thought that he’d change during the pregnancy, but boy was I ing wrong. He only got so much worse, he would direct all this beatings to my stomach, and fortunately thankfully the baby was fine, but when I was 5 months he pushed me down the stairs of this house and stomped on my stomach until I miscarried.” I teared up when I said the last bit, Zico embraced me, “My baby would’ve been a little boy, I would’ve named him Caleb,” I cried, “I don’t know why this is happening to me, I’ve never done anything bad to anyone,” Zico gently my head, “Shhh, it’d gunna be fine,” he cooed.

Zico then carried me to a different room, filled with instruments…..and people. Six people to be precise, Zico told me they were his band mates, their names were: Kyung, P.O, Taeil, U kwon, B bomb and Jaehyo. Zico told me they were gunna play something for me and I was surprised at how good they were, also the fact that they didn’t stare at my ed up face.
