School and A Surprise Visit?
16 @ WarI was listening to T.O.P's Turn it up, when a harsh tap on my shoulder snapped me out of admiring the rapper's skill. I looked up and glared at the long-haired boy that dates to disturb me, oh he is gorgeous-ahem, not that it matters. I bet he's a , he has that 'I'm a ' look about him. He yanked my headphones from outta my ears and my eye twitched, the did he just do? You wanna die today fool? "Yah! That's my seat!" He exclaimed in Korean, I just gave him a look, he took that as a look of confusion and repeated it in English, slowly, as if talking to a child, "Thaaat iiiiiis myyyyyy seeeeeat" I scowled, "Listen, fool, don't speak to me like I'm a child, I know Korean, who would come to a country without knowing the language. Furthermore, is your name on the is seat son? Hmm?" I spoke in perfect Korean, which made this twit look taken aback, I smirked and he quickly recovered, "No, bu-" I tsked, "Uh uh uh fool, exactly, so take your head out of your and back up out my face before I wring your neck," I gave him an icy glare and he turned around to find another seat, but not before he told the crowd that formed to leave or in his words, to ' off'. Just as I went to put me headphones in my ears, I heard some girls;
"Huh! How dare that disrespect our oppa like that?!"
"It's true! Who does she think she is?"
"Yeah! Just because she's black doesn't mean she can-"
I snapped my head back to them, a murderous expression plastered on my face,"Say one word, one more word and I'll show you just how black I can get," They quickly shut their mouths and turned towards the teacher who just walked in, I followed suit and sighed. I ran my hand through my curly hair and puffed my cheeks out
Tch. Girls are es no matter where you go.
Overall my day was alright, better than my old school. Only stares and some racist comments, but I'm used to the comments already, nothing new. I had about six lessons a day:
Art
Dance
Music
Maths
English
Science
In different orders everyday, sometimes a double lesson. Today it's, English, Maths, Art, Dance and double Music, with break and lunch in between.
Right now it's art, so I have dance after this.
I sketched furiously at th piece of paper I had in front of me. The teacher had told the class to draw anything, just for this lesson, she wanted to we how good we were. I was so engrossed in my drawing I didn't pay attention to the sudden commotion and hushed whispers that radiated around the classroom;
"Omo! What is he doing here?!"
"I thought he had a tour this week!"
"The headteacher rarely comes to school"
"What is he doing stand next to her?"
When I took a break from sketching, I looked up to find the whole class staring at me and next to me. I tilted my head and raised my eyebrow and a boy motioned next to me.
I turned and looked in the direction he pointed me to, and I got the shock of my life.
Standing next to me, was my bias and role model...
