I was on my way home when I saw a person sleeping on the sidewalk. I gazed at the ramyun that was in the bag I was carrying and decided to cook it and give it to the sleeping figure. 

I walked back to the store and asked for hot water. After cooking the noodles, I headed out and sat beside the cold sleeping figure. 

"Hey..." I woke him up. "Hey, I brought you food." I tapped his shoulder again. 
"Get away from me!" The man shot up and pushed me away, spilling the noodles in the process. 
"Hey, chill. I'm here to help you..." I tried to comfort him but he kept on shaking and curled himself into a ball. "Do you want something to eat?" I asked. He didn't respond but instead, he held his knees tighter—if that was even possible. "I'm not going to hurt you..." I reached out but he slapped my hand away. "I'm here to help..." I sighed. I slowly held out my hand and pat his shoulder.

Something is wrong with this person. It was cold out here but he was burning. Panicked, I touched his forehead and confirmed that he was indeed running a high fever. 

"What happened to you?" I asked. I removed my jacket and wrapped it around him. His teeth were chattering and his eyes were unfocused. 

Wait a minute. 

I know this person. 

I know him a little too much. 

He's the person who helped me have hope in life. He's the man who inspired mo to continue living. He's my idol. He's my role model.
