Chapter 13

Kibum was busy packing some of his toys. He was so happy because he will go at his Uncle Donghae and Aunt Hyuk Jae’s house. He is so happy because he will visit his Aunt Hyuk Jae and his baby cousin Minho. Sungmin went inside her son’s room. Kibum stares at his mother who is wearing a black business casual dress and six inches stiletto. She was combing her soft, thin and long brown hair

“Are you ready honey?”

Kibum nods at Sungmin

“Mommy, I pack some of my toys”

Kibum happily shows his mother his penguin back pack

“Baby Minho and I will play”

“That’s nice”

Sungmin sits beside her son

“Don’t be so naughty there, arasso?”

“Yes mommy”

“You need to behave and don’t give Aunt Hyukkie a hard time taking care of you because she also need to take care of baby Minho”

Kibum nods at Sungmin

“I already give your things to your nanny. She’s waiting for you downstairs. Your driver will be the one who will drop you and your nanny at Uncle Hae and Aunt Hyukkie’s house. I’ll follow after my meeting”

“With Uncle Jongwoon?”

Sungmin nods at him. Kibum holds his mother’s beautiful face between her little hands

“Mommy, are you ok? You look so pale”

“Yes honey, I am fine. Don’t mind me. I’m just tired”

“Are you sure?”

Sungmin manage to smile and nods at her son

“Mommy, can I ask a favor?”

“Yes honey”

“Can we visit my grandma at their house? I just want to see her because she didn’t have the chance to attend my birthday party because she’s sick. Let’s visit her and have dinner with them later”

Kibum told his mother while flashing his puppy eyes. Sungmin stares at him nervously. Her heart starts beating fast because she doesn’t want to see her father again. She feels so nervous and scared whenever her father is around because she always feel that she’s always in danger and her family as well

“Honey”

“Mommy, please”

Sungmin stares at her son and sighs

“Arasso, but you need to behave or else we won’t visit them later”

“Yes mommy”

Kibum smiles brightly while clapping his hands happily

“Thank you mommy”

Kibum kissed his mother’s lips

“Let’s go honey. I’m sure that your Aunt Hyukkie and baby Minho are already waiting for you. Don’t forget what I told you ok? Behave, arasso?”

“Yes mommy”

Kibum smiles at her and wears his penguin back pack. Sungmin carries him on her arms as they went inside the elevator

“Mommy, why don’t we take the stairs?”

“I’m tired of walking honey”

“Am I heavy?”

“Not really”

“Mommy, let’s call daddy later”

“Ok”

Sungmin smiles at her son before going out of the elevator. Sungmin walks at the living room. Kibum saw Nanny Ahjumma and waves his hand upon her

“Bye Nanny Ahjumma. I’m going to visit Aunt Hyukkie and my baby cousin. We’re going to play”

“That’s so sweet prince Kibum”

Kibum smiles at her

“I’ll be back later. Tell Dog’s nanny to watch over him, ok?”

“No problem”

Kibum gives Nanny Ahjumma a sweet kiss on her cheek before Sungmin went out of the house

“Mommy, you put me down”

“Why?”

“Just do it”

Sungmin obeys her son. Kibum runs towards his mother’s driver

“Driver Ahjusshi”

“Yes prince Kibum?”

“You’re the one who will drive mommy in her office?”

Sungmin’s driver nods at Kibum. He kneels down to have the same level to Kibum

“Driver Ahjusshi, please drive safely and drop mommy at her office safe”

“No problem prince Kibum”

Kibum smiles at him and gives him a sweet hug

“You also need to drive mommy safe to Aunt Hyukkie and Uncle Hae’s house, ok?”

“Yes prince Kibum”

“Thank you so much Driver Ahjusshi”

Kibum kissed his cheek before running towards his mother

“Mommy”

Sungmin carries her son on her arms

“I’m going to wait for you. You need to finish your meeting with Uncle Jongwoon early, arasso?”

“Yes honey. You need to go now. Don’t give your nanny a hard time”

“Ok”

Kibum kissed his mother’s lips

“I love you mommy. Take care”

“I love you too honey. You also take care”

Sungmin brushes her nose from his before kissing his lips. Kibum’s driver opens the backseat door of the silver Rolls Royce Ghost. Kibum’s nanny went inside first. Sungmin puts down her son on the seat and puts his seatbelt on

“I’ll see you later honey”

Sungmin smiles at him before closing the door. She looks at her son’s driver

“Ahjusshi, please drive safely”

“Yes young lady”

Sungmin walks towards the black limousine

“Let’s go”

She smiles at her driver who opens the door for her

“Thank you”

Sungmin went inside. She gets small white envelope inside a folder and stares on it

“I need to do this. I need to get rid of that ”

Sungmin whispers and put the white envelope back inside the folder. She leans her head on the window and closes her eyes. She tries to sleep because she’s still sleepy and she feels so tired and weak

*LEE CORPORATION*

Jongwoon and Sungmin was walking at the hallway, having a little chat after their meeting

“So, how’s Wookie?”

“She’s fine. We’re going out today with Jonghyun”

Jongwoon told Sungmin happily

“You still don’t have plan on marrying her?”

Sungmin asks Jongwoon curiously, making him smile while blushing a little

“I’m actually planning to propose to her, but don’t tell her ok. It’s a surprise”

“You finally made up your mind?”

Jongwoon nods at her

“We already talk about it yesterday night. I think she’s ready for marriage and I also want to settle down with her. I mean, I want her to be the girl of my life and be with her all the time”

“When do you plan to propose?”

“I’m planning to propose to her in Switzerland. I supposed to leave next week, but I decided to leave early because I need to catch up with your husband. He calls me awhile ago, telling me to go their early because some of our business partners are already looking for me. I’ll be flying tonight with Wookie and Jonghyun”

“I see. They are coming with you”

“We’re going to have vacation there. I’ll just attend that business expo for two days”

Jongwoon laughs softly

“Wookie and I deserve to have vacation together with Jonghyun”

“That’s a very wonderful idea. You need to have a break sometimes”

Jongwoon stares at Sungmin

“Is it true that you’re going to stop working soon?”

Sungmin nods at him

“I’m actually stressing myself too much because of my works. I want to take a break and it’s for good. I already talk about it to Kyu and he agrees with it. I’ll just finish our project before I leave my work for good. I just want to stay home and be a good housewife. I want to take care of my husband and our son. Kyu and I are actually planning to have a second baby, but because I’m stressing myself too much, we always fail”

“Mr. Cho will be the one who will manage the Lee Corporation?”

Sungmin nods

“Kyu is the President of this company. I’m just acting in behalf of him since he’s a very busy man. I can always step down whenever I want. If you still want to be the Vice-President of this company then you should talk to my husband”

“Ok”

Sungmin waves her hand as Jongwoon enters the elevator

“See you around Minnie”

“Good luck on your proposal to Wookie”

“Thanks”

Sungmin smiles at him. She waves her hand before walking away. She enters her office and stares at Hara who is sitting on the chair while writing something

“Ms. Goo Hara”

Hara raised her head and stares at Sungmin seriously

“I want you in my office now”

Sungmin told her before entering her office

“What does she want this time? She’s such a . I really hate her”

Hara whispers. She stands up and enters Sungmin’s office without knocking. She frowns at Sungmin who is sitting on her chair while holding a small white envelope

“Please have a seat”

Sungmin told Hara. Hara shoot her a serious glare before sitting on the chair

“What do you want ”

She asks Sungmin who raises her eyebrow upon hearing her

“Is the proper way you talk to your boss?”

“Mr. Cho is my boss and not you”

“But I am his wife, so I’m also your boss”

Hara bites her lips because of anger

“I just want to give you something”

Sungmin hands her the small white envelope. Hara stares at her before grabbing it

“What is this?”

“Why don’t you read it for you to know?”

Sungmin smiles at her. Hara takes a deep breath before opening the envelope. Her eyes widened while reading the letter

“What the hell is the meaning of this?”

Hara asks Sungmin while frowning at her. Sungmin flashes a sarcastic smile

“You don’t understand it Ms. Goo Hara? Do you want me to read it for you and explain everything for you to understand it? It’s a termination paper, meaning, starting today, you’re already fired. Don’t worry I’ll send your back pay later or do you want to get it now?”

Hara slams her hands on the desk. She throws the paper on Sungmin’s face. She stands up and pulls Sungmin away from her chair

“You can’t do this to me ”

“But I already did”

Hara raise her hand to slap Sungmin, but she catches it before Hara’s hand lands on her beautiful face. Sungmin holds Hara’s hand tightly while staring at her seriously

“Don’t you ever lay your dirty hand on me!”

“Why are you doing this?”

“Because that’s what I want”

“You can never fire me because you’re not my boss!”

Sungmin bites her lips because of anger. She holds Hara’s chin tightly

“Shut up you ! Don’t forget that I can always fire you even though I’m not your boss. I have an equal right with my husband because Lee Corporation and Cho Corporation are already one since the day I marry my husband. I’m also your boss, so you need to learn how to respect me if you don’t want me to cut your tongue!”

She stares at Hara seriously

“You should know where to place yourself Ms. Goo Hara. You’re just his secretary. I am his wife and I’m still superior to you, so you should know where to place yourself”

Sungmin pushes Hara on the floor

“We’re not yet done Mrs. Cho”

Hara stands up and looks at Sungmin

“You’re not going to win over me”

Hara told Sungmin who smirks at her

“You really want to have a fight? Ok, I’ll give you one. Let’s see who will win between us. You can never have my husband and I won’t allow a like you to ruin our happy marriage and our happy family”

Sungmin gritted his teeth because of anger

“If I were you, stat packing now. I don’t want to see your face here and at my husband’s office. Don’t try me Ms. Goo Hara. You don’t know me so well. I’m not going to go easy on you”

Sungmin told Hara. She grabs her bag and left Hara alone in her office

“You also don’t know me so well Unnie. I still got the ace. I’ll win over you for sure. I’m going to ruin your happy marriage and your family just like what I promise Appa. Your husband will be mine soon”

Hara told herself. She flashes her evil smile and went out of her sister’s office to pack all her things

Sungmin knocks on the door before entering her sister in law and her brother’s room. She saw Hyuk Jae sitting on the bed while watching Minho and Kibum who are sleeping peacefully beside each other

“Unnie”

Sungmin walks carefully towards Hyuk Jae

“Hi honey dear”

Hyuk Jae smiles at her and hugs her tight. Sungmin sits beside her

“They fall asleep”

“My baby boy didn’t give you head ache, right?”

Hyuk Jae nods at Sungmin while smiling at her

“Key is always behave. He plays with his baby cousin and talk to Hae and Kyu over the phone because Hae calls me awhile ago. Key told me that you will be having dinner at your parents’ house later”

Sungmin nods weakly

“He wants to see Umma because she didn’t have the chance to attend Key’s birthday party because she’s sick. Key wants to visit them”

Hyuk Jae holds Sungmin’s hand

“Do you want me to accompany you?”

Sungmin shook her head

“Nobody will take care of Minho”

“Then I’m going to bring him with me”

“It’s ok Unnie. You don’t need to worry about me”

“Are you sure that you’re going to be ok? I just want to make sure that you’ll be fine there”

Sungmin nods at her

“It’s just a dinner Unnie. We’re going home after”

“Arasso. Just give me a call if you’re in trouble”

“Ok”

Hyuk Jae stares at Sungmin worriedly when she notice her pale face

“Are you sick honey dear?”

“No. I’m just tired and so stress lately that’s why I’m feeling so weak. It’s also because of lack of sleep because I need to wake up early everyday to go to work. I always find it so hard to wake up early in the morning because I’m getting so lazy lately”

Hyuk Jae starts her sister in law’s long brown hair gently

“You supposed to take a break even for a week”

“I’m just finishing my project with Jongwoon. After that, I’m going to leave my work for good and just stay at home and be a good housewife. I’ll just take care of Kyu and Key”

“You already talk about it to Kyu?”

Sungmin answers her sister in law with a nod

“He agrees with it because I’m already tired and so stress of working. Beside, we’re planning to have our second baby. I really need to stop working so we can have another baby”

“Hae told me about it. You really need to take a rest and don’t stress yourself too much if you want to get pregnant soon”

Sungmin sighs sadly and rest her head on Hyuk Jae’s lap

“I’m already tired of thinking about it Unnie. Kyu and I keep on trying, but we always fail. I don’t know what’s happening to me. I’m not like this before. I mean, I get pregnant easily before, that’s why I can’t understand why it’s hard for me to get pregnant now. Kyu is getting so disappointed already and I’m really sad”

Sungmin told her sister in law sadly. Hyuk Jae stares at her

“Don’t think too much and just stay positive. The baby will arrive soon. You and Kyu just need to be patient. Did you already visit your OB?”

Sungmin nods at her

“Kyu and I visit her for a check-up before we go in Jamaica for our honeymoon. She advice us to avoid stress”

“That was a long time Minnie. You should go now and have a check-up, so you can ask. She’ll tell you what to do”

“I’ll just have my check-up when Kyu arrives. I’m just scared to have a check-up without my husband. I need his support”

Hyuk Jae stares at Sungmin. She coughs before talking

“Honey dear, I’m going to tell you something, but please don’t get mad”

“Ok”

“I know that you’re very sensitive when it comes to this thing. Actually, I just notice that, you gain some weight”

Sungmin immediately sits on the bed and stares at her sister in law with wide eye open

“Really? Key also told me that. I really gain some weight?”

“Yes. You’re really gaining some weight”

Sungmin buries her face on her palms

“Aigoo! This is bad. Kyu will really exchange me from his y secretary because I’m no longer y. I’m already fat. Kyu will hate me now”

“Yah! What the hell are you talking about? Of course Kyu will never do that”

Sungmin stares at Hyuk Jae sadly

“Unnie, I just can’t help but to eat a lot every day”

Hyuk Jae notice Sungmin’s tummy. She rubs its gently

“Are you pregnant?”

Sungmin shook her head

“Unnie, I wish I am but I’m not. I just have my period last month and this month”

“Then it’s fat and not a baby bump”

Sungmin looks at her tummy and looks at Hyuk Jae while biting her thumb

“Aigoo! Unnie, I’m really fat now. I already have a tummy. Oh my goodness, this can’t be happening”

Hyuk Jae gently pinches Sungmin’s cheek

“Why are you so cute? Don’t worry Minnie. You’re still beautiful”

“I’m just scared that Kyu will look at other girl’s because I’m growing like a hippo”

“Of course not, stop thinking like that. Kyu will never exchange you from other girls”

Sungmin suddenly snaps her fingers when she remembers something

“Unnie, I’m going to tell you something”

“Go ahead”

“I already fire that secretary of my husband”

“Really?”

Sungmin nods at Hyuk Jae

“Way to go Mrs. Cho”

“And she really thinks that I can’t do it. If my husband can’t fire her and I don’t know why then I’ll be the one who will fire her in which I already did”

Hyuk Jae and Sungmin give each other a high five

“But Unnie, do you think I did the right thing?”

Hyuk Jae nods at her

“The first time that I saw her at Key’s birthday, I really have a bad feeling on her. She’s a bit dangerous, especially the way she dresses up. So seductive and it seems that she had a big hidden desire to your husband because the way she talks and looks at him. She’s a flirt. That’s what I think”

“Me too, I also think that way”

“You just did the right thing. You’re just protecting your husband”

“Kyu will be very stupid if ever he hires her again. I’m really going to get mad at him and will really think that she’s the other woman if ever Kyu will favor her again than me”

“If that happens then you need to show Kyu that you’re already mad. Don’t let him take you for granted. You’re his wife and he should know that. If Kyu will be a jerk then I’ll let Hae break his face”

Hyuk Jae told Sungmin before smiling at her. She holds Sungmin’s hand

“Come honey dear. Let’s go downstairs and eat some cake while chatting. We might wake our adorable kids. Let’s just call Minho and Key’s nanny to watch over them for the meantime”

“Ok Unnie”

Sungmin smiles at her. They hold each other’s hand and quietly leave the room, avoiding waking Minho and Key who are still sleeping peacefully on the soft bed

Mr. Lee stares at her daughter

“She really did that to you?”

Hara nods at her father

“But don’t worry Appa because I’ve got the ace”

Hara gives her father a brown envelope

“Open it and you’ll know what I’m talking about”

Mr. Lee opens the brown envelope and saw some pictures of Jongwoon and Sungmin together

“I’m going to use that against my sister. I won’t let her win against me. It’s really nice to be her secretary even for short period of time. Thanks to her, I can ruin her happy marriage with my brother in law easily”

Hara told her father happily. Mr. Lee flashes his evil smile and pats his daughter’s head

“Very good sweetheart, you just did the right thing”

Hara smiles

“I told you Appa. I’m not going to disappoint you. Brother in law will surely get mad at Unnie and if that happens, I can easily seduce him and be mine”

Hara laughs softly. Mr. Lee hugs his daughter

“That’s my baby girl”

One of the helpers went at the living room

“Mr. Lee, your daughter and grandson is here to visit you”

She bows at Mr. Lee before going. Hara stares at her father nervously

“Appa, what shall we do? Unnie can’t see me here or else our plan will be ruin for sure”

“Hide at the kitchen”

Hara immediately gets all her things and run inside the kitchen. Sungmin walks towards her father while carrying her son on his arms

“Grandpa!”

Kibum happily shouts. Sungmin puts him down. Kibum runs happily towards his grandfather. Mr. Lee carries Kibum on his arms and ruffles his grandson’s hair happily

“How’s my adorable and very cute grandson?”

Kibum smiles brightly at his grandfather before answering him

“I’m fine grandpa. I miss you and grandma that’s why I ask mommy to go here an visit you”

“That was so sweet”

Mr. Lee kissed Kibum’s cheek before staring at his daughter

“Are you not going to hug me my baby girl?”

Sungmin takes a deep breath before walking towards her father. Mr. Lee puts down his grandson. He holds Sungmin’s hands tightly and pulls her for a hug

“It’s good to see you again baby girl”

Mr. Lee fakes a smile

“Key wants to see Umma since she’s not around during his birthday party. Is Umma here?”

Sungmin asks her father curiously. Mr. Lee smirks at her

“Of course your mom is here. She’s having a rest inside our room. She’s not feeling well lately”

Sungmin stares at her father worriedly

“Is there something wrong to her?”

Mr. Lee shook his head

“Nothing baby girl. Your mom is not feeling well lately because she’s getting old”

Mr. Lee laughs

“Just stay here. I’ll call her. Join us in dinner”

“Ok”

Mr. Lee smiles at his grandson who is staring at him before going upstairs. Sungmin sits on the sofa

“Mommy, your house before is so big”

Sungmin smiles at him

“But our house is still bigger than this. Can I play first since we’re not yet going to eat dinner?”

“Ok. Just don’t go out”

“Yes mommy”

Kibum smiles and happily plays around the house. He was holding the remote control of his helicopter, playing it happily

“I’m a great pilot because I can drive my helicopter so well”

Kibum told his self happily while watching his helicopter flying around the house while he carefully controls it. He went at the kitchen and saw his father’s secretary who is sitting at the chair

“Hi there little Key”

Hara smiles at him. She stands up and walks towards him

“What are you doing here?”

Hara asks her nephew while smiling at him

“Noona, I’m actually visiting my grandparents with mommy. How about you? Do you know my grandparents?”

Hara shook her head

“I got lost. I thought this is my house”

Kibum smiles at her

“Where is your house Noona?”

“It’s really far away. Do you want to go with me?”

Kibum shook his head

“Mommy will not allow me”

“Maybe you can come with me someday”

“If mommy allows me then I’ll come with you. Mommy told me not to go with strangers without her permission”

“But I’m your dad’s secretary”

“I know, but I still need to ask for mommy and daddy’s permission”

“Ok”

Kibum heard his mother calling him

“Bye Noona. I need to go. You need to find your way home now. Be careful next time so you wouldn’t get lost”

Kibum waves his hand happily before going out of the kitchen

“Is good that he’s only a kid or else I’ll be in trouble”

Hara sighs in relief. She grabs all her things and carefully went out of the backdoor

Sungmin was having a peaceful dinner with her parents and son. Kibum was sitting beside his grandmother

“Grandma, are you feeling fine now?”

Kibum asks Mrs. Lee worriedly. Mrs. Lee hugs her grandson

“Don’t worry about me sweetheart”

She cups Kibum’s face

“I’m already fine”

“But why are you wearing a long sleeve dress? Are you feeling cold?”

“Yes sweetheart. I have colds that’s why I’m wearing a long sleeve dress”

Mrs. Lee lied. She stares at her daughter who is also staring at her worriedly, trying to read the expression of her mother’s eyes

“It’s good to see you again my baby girl”

She smiles at her daughter and holds her hand tight

“How are you? You look so pale”

“I’m a bit tired Umma because of work”

Mrs. Lee frowns at her

“You’re stressing yourself too much”

Sungmin manage to flash a smile

“I’m fine Umma. You don’t need to worry about me. Let’s have dinner outside when Oppa comeback from the business expo in Switzerland”

Mrs. Lee nods at her daughter

“I also want to meet my daughter in law and baby Minho. I also want to see your husband again. It’s been a long time. How is he?”

“He’s very busy with his works. He’s also in Switzerland with Oppa. He’ll stay there for three days”

“I see”

“But we will always find time to have dinner with you. Don’t worry”

Sungmin smiles at her mother. Mrs. Lee stares at Kibum

“How about you little boy? How’s school?”

“It’s fine grandma. I have a lot of friends in Yongsan International School of Seoul. Grandma, if you have some time, please visit us at home so I can introduce Dog to you”

“Dog?”

Kibum nods at his grandmother

“I have a dog. My grandma and my grandpa from Australia give it to me as a birthday present. His name is Dog. I’m going to introduce him to you when you visit our house”

“Ok. If I have time, I’ll visit your house”

“And we’re going to play?”

Mrs. Lee smiles at him

“Of course, we’re going to play all the time”

Mrs. Lee kissed her grandson’s lips and ruffles his hair

“You’re so cute and very adorable just like your mommy and daddy”

Kibum flashes a bright smile

“I’m cute like mommy and smart like daddy”

“That’s so true”

Mrs. Lee hugs Kibum tightly. Mr. Lee coughs and stares at his daughter

“Why don’t you sleep here with Key? Kyu is not here in Seoul, so I can watch over you and my grandson”

Mr. Lee told his daughter while smiling at her. Sungmin shook her head

“It’s ok Appa. Key and I will be fine in our house. We have a lot of helpers and bodyguards there. You don’t need to worry about us”

Sungmin emphasizes the word ‘worry’ while looking at her father’s eyes

“Key is not used in sleeping in other’s house. We’re going home after dinner”

“If that’s what you want. I’m just concern about you and Key”

“Don’t worry Appa because Key and I will be fine in our house”

Sungmin told her father. She stares at her mother. She looks at her eyes and just nod. Sungmin smiles at her son and continue feeding him

Sungmin was lying on the bed because she suddenly feels so dizzy and weak. Kibum starts crying because he’s afraid that his mommy will die and leave him

“Mommy”

“Honey...”

Sungmin hugs her son

“Why are you crying?”

“I’m so scared mommy”

Kibum hugs his mother tight as he continue to cry hard

“Why? What’s wrong?”

“I’m so worried about you. You look so pale and you just throw up”

Kibum holds his mother’s face

“Are you sick? Mommy, please don’t be sick. I don’t want you to be sick. Mommy, I’m so worried about you. I don’t want you to die”

“What?”

Sungmin sighs and brushes her nose from his

“Honey, I’m not going to die ok. I’m fine. I just feel so weak and tired, that’s all”

“But still”

Sungmin wipes her tears

“Stop crying now or else I’m not going to be ok. I just need to take a rest then I’ll be fine by tomorrow”

Kibum keeps on crying

“Mommy, I’m going to call daddy”

Sungmin dials Kyuhyun’s number and gives her mobile phone to her son

“Yeoboseo”

“Daddy...”

Kyuhyun’s eyes widened upon hearing his son crying over the phone

“Honey, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

“It’s mommy”

“What about mommy?”

“Daddy...”

Kibum sniffs

“Daddy, mommy is sick. You should go home now. I’m scared for her. I’m really worried. She throws up awhile ago. She’s not feeling well. She feels so tired. Just go home now, please”

“Ok. Stop crying now honey. I’m going home tomorrow. Stop crying. Will you please give the phone to your mommy?”

Kibum nods and hands Sungmin her mobile phone

“Baby...”

Kyuhyun heard Sungmin’s weak voice

“Baby, what happen to you?”

Kyuhyun asks his wife worriedly. Sungmin shook her head

“I don’t know. I just feel so weak”

“Did you already see a doctor?”

“Not yet. I’m scared”

“Arasso. I’ll be back in Seoul tomorrow. We’re going at the hospital when I arrive, arasso?”

“Baby...”

“Minnie, don’t be so hard headed. I’m worried about you. Just take a rest for the meantime. I’m going home tomorrow. Don’t go to work first, just take a rest, arasso?”

“Give the phone back to our son”

Sungmin gives her mobile phone to her son

“Daddy wants to talk to you”

Kibum grabs the mobile phone

“Daddy...”

“Honey, listen to me ok?”

Kibum nods

“Stop crying now”

“Yes daddy”

Kibum stops crying and wipes his tears

“I’m not crying anymore daddy”

“I want you to watch over mommy. I’ll be home tomorrow. Watch over mommy for the meantime. Don’t leave her side, arasso?”

Kibum nods

“You sing some song to mommy so she can fall asleep”

“Daddy, mommy will be fine right?”

“Yes honey. Don’t worry. Just watch over her and don’t leave her. Just always stay by her side. You need to sleep now as well as mommy”

“Yes daddy”

“Kiss her goodnight for me”

“Yes daddy. Please be back soon. Mommy needs you”

“I will. Sing her a lullaby and sleep with her. I’ll be home tomorrow. I love you honey”

“I love you too daddy”

Kyuhyun hangs up. Kibum crawls towards his mother

“Mommy”

He brushes his little fingers on his mother’s beautiful face. Sungmin slowly opens her eyes

“Honey?”

“Are you ok now?”

Kibum lay down beside his mother and hugs her tight

“Mommy, I’m going to watch over you and take care of you while daddy is not around. He told me not to leave your side”

Sungmin hugs her son

“Don’t worry too much honey. I’m fine. I just need to sleep and take a good rest then I’ll be fine tomorrow morning. We need to sleep now because you still have class tomorrow”

Kibum nods at Sungmin

“Mommy, I saw daddy’s secretary awhile ago”

Sungmin stares at her son blankly

“She’s at grandma and grandpa’s house awhile ago”

“Honey, I hate liars”

“But I’m not lying mommy. I really saw her at the kitchen. She told me that she was lost. Did you happen to help her find her way home?”

Sungmin stares at her son and just nods at him

“I bet she’s really scared because she’s lost. It’s good that she got lost in grandma and grandpa’s house or else she’ll be in danger for sure”

“Go to sleep now honey. You still need to wake up early”

Kibum looks at his mother and kissed her lips

“I love you mommy. Sleep tight and have a goodnight rest”

He kissed her lips for the second time

“That’s for daddy. He told me to kiss you goodnight for him. He’ll be back tomorrow. Don’t worry mommy because daddy will be back soon to take care of you”

“Thank you honey”

Sungmin kissed her son’s lips

“I love you too and of course your daddy”

Sungmin smiles when Kibum starts singing some nursery rhyme that he learned from his school. He sings it to his mother so Sungmin will have a peaceful sleep. Sungmin slowly closes her eyes while listening to her son’s cute voice. She hugs him tight as she falls asleep with him

*HOTEL MONTE ROSA, SWITZERLAND*

Donghae and Kyuhyun were eating peacefully at Hotel Monte Rosa wherein they were currently staying

“Who’s on the phone awhile ago?”

“It’s Key”

“Your baby boy already misses you so much huh?”

Kyuhyun shook his head

“It’s about Minnie”

Donghae notice Kyuhyun’s worried face

“Does something bad happen to my sister?”

Donghae asks Kyuhyun nervously

“She’s sick. Key calls me while crying so hard because she’s so worried about his mother. He thought that Minnie will die because she throws up”

“Throws up? Is she pregnant?”

Kyuhyun shook his head

“Minnie just finished having her period this month”

“What happen to her?”

“I don’t know. Maybe she’s stressing herself that much. She’s tired and I’m really worried about her. I told her that we’re going to see a doctor when I arrive in Seoul tomorrow”

“So, you’re going home with me?”

Kyuhyun answers his brother in law with a nod

“How about Mr. Kim? He will arrive here tomorrow with his fiancée and nephew”

“Don’t worry about him. I already give him a call and explain everything to him. He understands. I really need to go home and take care of my wife. She’s sick and she needs me”

Kyuhyun sighs

“Hae, I’m just curious. Why do you need to go back in Seoul all of a sudden?”

Donghae clears his throat before answering Kyuhyun

“It’s about a Appa”

Kyuhyun stares at him blankly

“I’ll tell you some preview. I actually hired some private investigators to watch over my father because I can sense that he’s planning something evil again that’s why he’s in Seoul again”

“You think so?”

“Yes. Hundred percent, I always trust my instinct ok. I’ll tell you more about it when I already talk to the private investigators. They already call me awhile ago that’s why I need to go back in Seoul immediately”

Kyuhyun stares at his brother in law curiously

“Do you think Appa is behind everything that happens to your Joy Imports and your company?”

“I think so. We need to find that out as soon as possible”

“What if he’s really the culprit?”

“I’ll send him to jail. But I think before we do that, we must think of a plan first”

“What plan?”

“To bring him down. He wants to have a war then I’ll grant his wish. I’ll make sure that his company will be mine soon. You need to help me Kyu”

“Are you sure about it? He’s your father”

Donghae smirks

“He never becomes a father to me and to Minnie. He needs to suffer for being so evil. I’m just returning the favor. He wants it then he’ll get it”

Donghae takes a sip on his wine

“Kyu...”

He looks at Kyuhyun

“Let’s talk about your y secretary after I talk with the private investigators”

“What about Hara?”

“Just let me talk with the private investigators first before we talk about her. I just want to find out something, but please, stay away from her because she’s a very dangerous woman. If you don’t want to ruin your happy family, you must stay away from that girl because if you won’t get rid of her, I’m telling you, she will be the cause of your divorce to Minnie”

Donghae sighs

“Let’s eat fast and pack our things. Let’s just leave tonight, what do you think?”

“No problem. That will be fine with me”

Donghae suddenly laugh

“It seems that we just cruise around Switzerland because we’re too bored in Seoul. I really can’t believe it. We just arrive awhile ago and tonight we’re leaving. Those CEOs will surely become curious because we just attend the business expo today”

“This is so tiring”

“Super tiring, but what can we do? We also have some business to attend and it’s for our family”

Donghae and Kyuhyun just laugh softly while staring at each other and continue eating again
