He Couldn't Help But Feel Jealous
It Could Never Be Too Late
Sandara's POV
-Airport-
"I'm finally here." I said as I walked through the airport carrying my bags.
Even though I was happy that I was finally back home, I didn't feel as excited as I thought I would. Instead, I felt worried.
The night before, when I texted Thunder on the plane, he told me something that took me by surprise.
-Flashback-
To: Thunder
From: Dara
Heyy, oppa! I'll be home soon! :D Did you miss me??
A few moments later.
To: Dara
From: Thunder
Ani! :P Not really xD I'm just kidding, dongsaeng. Of course I missed you! It's been awhile. I'm glad that you're finally visiting. Can't wait to see you and hyung!!
I giggled at his reply.
To: Thunder
From: Dara
Aigoo xP I can't wait to see you, too! How's everybody? Sorry I haven't been contacting you guys. I've been really busy.
To: Dara
From: Thunder
It's fine. Everyone's been good :)
To: Thunder
From: Dara
Good? Couldn't you elaborate a little, oppa? xD By the way, how's Youngbae?
At first, I hesitated to send the message because I knew that he probably still wasn't in good terms with Youngbae, but I really wanted to know how he was. So I sent it anyway.
He didn't respond for awhile, but eventually, he did.
To: Dara
From: Thunder
We've managed to survive without you :P Haha! I'm kidding... It's been the same. Mom and dad are busier than ever with the business, and since I really had nothing to do, I've been helping them.
And Youngbae? He left awhile ago. I haven't seen him in months.
'What?' I thought.
To: Thunder
From: Dara
What? What do you mean he left?
That was the last text because he never replied to my message.
I felt like I couldn't believe what oppa told me.
'Why did he go?'
END OF SANDARA'S POV
No One's POV
"Dara? Are you okay? You seem tense." Jiyong asked taking my hand.
"I'm fine... It's just... Thunder told me that... That Youngbae left the house months ago. And he won't tell me what happened." She replied.
Jiyong was silent after the reply. He couldn't help but feel jealous.
'You're worried about him again, huh?' Jiyong thought.
He was slightly irritated by the thought. In fact, he was tired of always hearing his name. Unfortunately, he had no right to be irritated or jealous because she wasn't his.
Though he wanted to tell Dara to just forget about the idea and that it was probably for the best, he knew that he needed to comfort her.
"Don't worry. We'll find out what really happened as soon as we get there." He said not too excitedly.
-End of Flashback-
Jiyong's POV
-Park's Mansion-
After a long ride from the airport, Dara and I finally arrived at her house.
I looked over at her, and I could see in her eyes that she wasn't as happy as before. She looked like she was anxious.
I knew who she was thinking about.
Youngbae.
I never really had anything against him. He was a actually a pretty nice guy, but he took all of Dara's attention.
I have no doubt in my mind that Sandara probably likes him. But I didn't want to accept the idea. I could be the better guy. I could be anything she wanted me to be, just as long as she was mine.
But that would be selfish. As much as it hurts to see her love someone else, I would rather see her beautiful smile. I didn't want to be in her way, but I couldn't help but envy Youngbae.

When we got out of the van, we started to unpack. We alternated taking out the luggages. When I went back to grab the last bag, I stopped Dara, and I took her hand.
Right behind her, I could see a gray Camaro parked.
'Is that Youngbae?' I asked myself as I stared through the front window of the vehicle.
I quickly turned my tension around to Dara. I didn't want her to see him yet. Out of nowhere I hugged her.
"Jiyong, are you okay?" I heard her angelic voice ask.
"Dara," I broke away from the hug.
As if it was a sudden reflex, I kissed her...
I continued to kiss her, but she put her hands on my chest and started to push me away. I didn't let her go.
From the corner of my, I could see Youngbae's shocked state, but before I pulled away from the kiss, he already left.
'What did I just do?' I asked myself.
As soon as Dara was able to fully grasp what just happened, she started to speak.
"Oppa... I can't believe you did that." She silently said feeling her lips.
"Why did you do that??" She said a little louder.
"Dara-" I started.
"I thought I told you how I felt. I thought you understood." She explained.
I could tell that she was angry and upset with me, but I knew that she was even more confused than ever.
I was confused as well. As soon as I saw Youngbae, I felt my jealousy take over, and out of jealousy, I kissed her. It was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself.
"I'm really sorry, Dara." I said in all sincerity.
She started to walk past me and enter her house, but I grabbed her arm.
"Let go of me, Jiyong." She said almost forcefully.
"I didn't mean to kiss you. I know you love Youngbae." I said.
She didn't speak, all she did was tug her arm.
I released her arm, and then, she continued to head for the door.
"I saw him."
She paused.
"That's why I kissed you."
She turned her whole body around.
"You mean, he's here?" She asked as she started to look around the area.
"Not anymore..." I replied.
She walked closer to me.
"Did he see?" She asked.
I cleared my throat.
"He was in his car along with a girl, behind you." I explained.
That's when she slapped me.
"So you knew he was there, you knew that I love him, yet you still kiss me? What kind of friend are you?" She scolded.
Before I could answer, she left me standing on her front door as she ran inside the mansion.
END OF JIYONG'S POV
Sandara's POV
'What just happened?!' I asked myself.
Jiyong just kissed me, and the worst part is Youngbae saw it happen. I need to find him.
"You're back!" A familiar voice exclaimed snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Annyeonghaseyo, appa!" I greeted as a gave him a big hug.
"How are you? Have you been doing good in school?" He asked.
"Ah yes, appa, I've been doing good. Um, appa, I have something to ask you." I said trying to ask him about Youngbae.
"What is it?"
"Thunder told me that Youngbae left the mansion months ago. Is that true?" I asked right away.
He nodded.
"But why did you let him go?" I asked, still confused about everything.
He chuckled.
"I didn't. He moved out." He said.
"Why?!" I continued to ask.
"Because he's training."
"Training for what?"
He paused for a moment.
"He's a trainee for YG Entertainment now."
For a few hours, appa and I sat down at the kitchen counter while he filled me in about everything that happened while I was gone. He continued to explain to me about what happened to Youngbae, and how he was able to impress the judges during his auditions and eventually get accepted as a trainee in YG Entertainment.
I was happy for Youngbae. I know that he deserves it.
I decided to ask appa where he lived because I really needed to talk to him. I really needed to clarify everything, and overall, I just wanted to be with him again.

Or will something happen before she can get to him?
