Time Flies
It Could Never Be Too Late
No One's POV
Eventually, weeks and then months went by. Sandara and Youngbae haven't been in contact since then. Neither of them knew what was going on in each other's lives. Their hearts both ached secretly, but they were so occupied with what they were doing, they barely had time to think about it.

-South Korea-
Youngbae was busy working on his music career. He was training hard and working hard to make sure that he was giving his absolute best in everything he does. Mr. Park was very proud of his accomplishments, and he was glad that he let him audition.
Although he was happy about where he was heading in life, not one day has past in which he doesn't think about Dara.
He always kept a picture of her wherever he went, and he would wake up everyday looking at his promise ring, and he would kiss it before getting up to start the day. Though he has faced many hardships along the months where he felt lonely, he was never alone.
Up until now, Chaerin has always been by his side. On the days when he was struggling with his training, and on the days when he felt like he had no one to talk to. She was a great friend to him, and she would always be the one he talks to when he feels like talking about his heartache. They grew very close, and they both excelled in their training years.
Fortunately, their hard work paid off because the president of the company told them that if they continue to do what they're doing, they'll be ready in no time.

Sandara was busy in college. She's now aspiring to become a singer, and she is working hard to be one.
The people in Juilliard are very impressed with her abilities, which she was very proud of.
Even though everything was going great while she's studying, she wasn't as happy and bubbly as she seemed to be.
Deep down inside, she missed him. She missed her best friend. Her heart ached everyday, and she couldn't help but feel lonely. She would always carry a picture of him wherever she went, and she always wore her promise ring.
She was never alone though. Jiyong was always her shoulder to cry on. He was an amazing friend to her, and he made sure that she always had a smile on her face.
Sandara never told him about her relationship with Youngbae because she never had the chance to tell him. It was hard to tell him, especially when he confessed to her. She didn't want to hurt him anymore than she did when she rejected him.
He was still sweet to her though, and he always treated her sweetly and respectively. He would still do anything for her because he never stopped loving her.

Since it was winter break in the U.S., Dara decided that she wanted to go visit her family back in Korea, and to visit Youngbae. Without hesitation, Jiyong agreed to go with her.

Sandara's POV
-JFK Airport-
"Thanks for agreeing to come with me, oppa." I said.
"No problem, Dara. I can't let you go by yourself!" He teased.
I giggled at his response.
"Can you believe that it's been a year since we left?"
He nodded his head. "Believe it or not, I actually miss Korea. I'm just excited to go back home."
"I know. I miss everyone there! Especially my family." I said.
"Don't worry, dongsaeng, we'll be back home in no time." He replied as he put his arm around me.
We both walked towards our gate.
'Just on time.' I thought to myself.
The plane just started boarding passengers. We put away our luggage on the carrier above us, and finally, we settled on our coach seats.
Moments later, the plane was ready to take off.
Jiyong takes my hand, which takes me by surprise.
"Are you excited?" He asked.
"More than you know." I replied.

Youngbae's POV
-YG Building-
"Hey, Chae." I greeted.
"Good morning, oppa!" She said enthusiastically.
"Are you ready for practice today?" She asked.
"Ani... Today I'm gonna go to appa's and spend some time with him." I replied.
"Would you mind if you come with me?" I added.
"Not at all! Let's go?" She offered.
I nodded my head.
"Let me just tell Teddy hyung where we're going." I said.
"Okay."

-Youngbae's Car-
I decided to drive to appa's house instead of having a driver drive us around.
"You're really close with him, aren't you, oppa?" Chaerin asked.
"Neh. He's been a father figure to me, even though he isn't my real father. And if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be where I am now."
All she did was nod, and then stared out the window in the passenger's seat.
A few minutes later, she broke the silence again.
"Have you heard from her?" She asked.
I sighed.
"Not since she left..."
I put both hands on the wheel and stared at the road blankly. It's been a year. I haven't heard from her since she left.
After that, it fell into complete silence.
Out of nowhere, I hear the radio. I faced Chaerin, and all I see is her beaming smile. She started jamming out like crazy in front of me, and I couldn't help but laugh.
The awkward atmosphere soon faded away after that.
"Dongsaeng, we're almost there." I said barely being able to stop laughing.
"BUT HERE'S MY NUMBER, SO CALL ME MAYBE!" She repeated after the radio.
I shook my head amusingly.
'Aish, this girl can be crazy sometimes.' I thought to myself.

-Park's Residence-
As I drove up along the long driveway of the Park's, I noticed a black van parked up ahead.
As soon as the door opened, the person in the van got out.
My eyes widened.
"Dara?"
I was frozen at my spot. She didn't seem to notice my car because she was busy unpacking.
She wasn't alone.
"Jiyong's here, too?"
"Bae, are you okay?" Chaerin asked.
"They're... Here." I said.
Chaerin faced the two people up ahead, and she instantly realized who they were.
I could barely speak. I didn't want to. All I wanted to do was get out of the car and walk towards her. But before I could even take my seatbelt off, something they did caught my attention.
Jiyong hugged her and then held her hands. He said something to her, then..........
He kissed her.
