Chandeliers were shining brightly in the Crystal Ballroom at the Lotte Hotel. Guests were pouring in from ambassadors to aristocrats. The Palace was holding the Annual Christmas Gala to raise funds for the orphanages all over Korea. Unique designer tuxedoes accompanied shining and shimmery ball gowns. The King and Queen were greeted by every guest and likewise greeted every guest. Joohyun was so happy to see everything running smoothly throughout the event. People were meeting people and catching up with each other before the charity event started.

The emcee announced the commencement of the charity event, and guests took their seats at tables. Dishes were served with Korean and Western fusions. The guests watched and laughed with the performances that different troupes had put up. Formalities were everywhere, but so was joy. The competition for bigger donations was pushed aside by dances and skits that parodied news from the year.
