"Christmess" Party
Holding On To You
The sisters had run to Joohyun after Changmin left. Yunho remained stunned on the way home, but left the palace in the limo after a few hours. The sisters woke up to a drunk Changmin being carried in by the palace servants. Yunho came a little later after having passed Changmin’s car keys to a servant. Changmin tried weakly to punch Yunho and Yunho didn’t move. Despite the servants’ efforts to hold Changmin back, Yunho ordered them to back down. Yunho walked up to Changmin who was staggering. Changmin hurled his fist at Yunho but he missed. When his fist had touched Yunho’s face, Changmin had simply hit him instead of punching him. Changmin started hitting Yunho’s shoulder and cried aloud. Yunho told the sisters and the servants to leave them alone. Everyone assumed that Yunho felt guilty that he allowed Changmin to punch him and that Changmin was crying because he felt heartbroken.
BoA was back in Korea. Yunho was acting weirdly, so she asked his sisters what had happened. She was no doubt mad, and he had to convince her that it was jealousy and guilt that had mixed with his alcohol. BoA believed him, after hearing from the sisters that he didn’t console Joohyun that night, nor chase after her since then. But she was enraged that he hadn’t talked to Joohyun yet after being such a huge trouble to the couple.
“I feel too guilty and hopeless to talk to her!” Yunho tried to explain himself. BoA shook her head at him and called Joohyun up for him. They had afternoon tea with Joohyun to settle the problem. Joohyun apologized to BoA for having betrayed her, but Yunho apologized to Joohyun for his error. BoA, with frustration in her voice, told Joohyun that she wasn’t the fault for the problem. The two cousins had let their emotions get the better of them and cloud their judgment. Joohyun was obviously still pale with sadness, so BoA thought that her Christmas party might bring some joy to Joohyun and smash the couple back together.
The party was held privately for her future family members, so the young ones gathered at her family’s lodge in the mountains for a nice Christmas dinner. Only the Jung siblings were there with Changmin, so Joohyun helped BoA with preparations and serving.
“Joohyun-ah, sit down. Everything is fine,” Yunho said. Joohyun smiled and complied, “Yes, your highness.” She awkwardly took her seat next to Changmin. The two hadn’t talked since that night.
“Changmin-ah, how can you not pull the chair for her?” BoA asked. Changmin snapped out of his thoughts and looked at her. No words came out of his and Joohyun’s mouths. They glanced at each other for a second and looked down
