It was when they were 5 five years old when he came into Eun Byul and her parents life. They had adopted him. She can't really remember the younger days, she knows they had fun times together. He was her oppa. He had to take care of her, and make her smile...as her oppa of course. But that's not how Siwan does it. He cares for her like he cares for a girl, not his sister. She was oblivious to the whole thing, but he didn't mind it much as long he saw her happy. But this story takes place in the present, years after he was first adopted.

Eun Byul's POV

I ran down the stairs as I smelled the familiar smell of breakfast. I went into the kitchen and saw Siwan with an apron on, putting my breakfast on a plate.

“Mmmm. Smells good Oppa.” I said.

“You say that everyday...”

“Cause it's true.”

He turned around and glanced at me.

“Button up your uniform...” he said.

I looked down. I was in a rush so I didn't button it up all the way.

“Oops...” I buttoned it. “I don't get why you're always doing that. I'm 16 years old now...”

“I don't care. I don't want guys looking at you.” he said and set the food on the table.

I rolled my eyes. “So you want girls to?”

“You know what I mean. Now eat, so we won't be late.”

I obeyed.

After we were done eating, we grabbed our backpacks. We said good morning to our parents before leaving. School wasn't that far from our house so the walk wasn't too long.

“Here, give me your bag.” he said.

“I can carry it. It's not that heavy!”

“Shut up and just give me it...” he took it off of my back.

I pouted. But secretly, I loved that he cared for me like this.

We walked pass a store. I saw a colorful phone chain. My eyes widened as I ran to it.

“Oppa! This is so cute!” I said, holding it up.

“You like it?” he asked.

I nodded.

“Can you get it for me?” I asked, using aegyo.

“You have a lot of those already!”

I pouted and put it back.

“Fine...” I walked passed him.

“Awh~ Byullie, don't be mad!” he ran up to me.

We finally reached the school.

Every morning he'd walk me to class. We passed a bulletin board advertising the Valentine's Day gift shop.

“Oppa, are you going to confess to someone this year? I've never seen you confess before.” I asked.

“Valentine's day is a overly marketed holiday.”

“I think it's romantic. You're just saying that because you've never had a girlfriend before!”

“You know what romantic is? You've never had a boyfriend before!”

“Tch...whatever...I'm hoping someone will confess to me this year, or I can confess to someone else.”

“Do you like someone?” he asked, a little too quickly.

I shrugged.

“Eun Byul!” I heard my friends call and run up to me.

“Hey guys.” I said.

“Hi Siwan oppa!” the 3 of them chorused.

I rolled my eyes. They've been gaga over him since the 6^th grade.

“Hello.” he smiled to them. They squealed.

He handed me my backpack. “I'll see you at the gates, okay?”

I nodded.

He lightly touched my chin, smiled and walked away.

They all sighed. “You're so lucky to have an oppa like him...”

I smiled and walked to my seat.

“I know.”
