“Sohee-ah is that you?” somebody said from behind me.

I turned around and saw that it was Myungsoo but he was not alone. He was with somebody else but it was too dark to see that person’s face. The person moved a little forward and saw her. I really didn’t want her here right now.

This is so messed up! I knew it was too good to be true.

“Oh, who is that with you?” Myungsoo asked, I felt Byunie come near me.

“Annyeong!” L. Joe greeted the both of them, unknown to what was about to happen.

The girl beside Myungsoo gasped and said “Byunie? Is that you?”

“Uh… yeah.” Byunie replied confused. “Do I know you?”

"Oh my god! It’s really you. How are you? It's me, Eunji. We all studied together remember?" Eunji said excitedly.

"Sorry my memory is a little hazy but I'm glad to have met you again." Byunie replied politely.

"Aish! You don't need to be so polite. By the way, are you both like together again? Huh?" Eunji asked teasingly.

I froze and I felt Byunie body go stiff. I didn't know how he will react but instead he just kept quiet. Myungsoo also looked confused at first but then a look crossed his face which he hid it quickly.

"Yah! You guys don't need to be shy about it. Kwenchana, you guys really made a great couple though. Sohee-ah we all thought that you finally did change him but he had to move away. Anyway I'm happy for the both of you." Eunji said breaking the silence.

"Oh so they went out? Sohee-ah I thought you'll wait for me. Not fair!" Myungsoo whined.

"Please, like you are any good." Eunji scoffed.

"She promised to marry me. Heh!" Myungsoo said gleefully.

They went back and forth like this then I felt Byunie come closer to my ear and he whispered "You have some explaining to do."

"Okay you two enough of that, it's getting late we all should head home." Byunie said breaking them up.

They both huffed and stopped their argument.

Byunie then turned towards me and said "I'll call you later. Goodnight ya'll"

"Anyway I've got to head home too. It's really nice to meet you again, Sohee-ah. Let's meet up again sometime. Myungsoo-ah, I hope I don’t stumble on you ever again." With that said she ran off.

The timing couldn't have been any better.

Then only Myungsoo and I were left in silence. The both of us just stared at each other in silence. I didn't know how to start. The look from before crossed his face again and he looked at me intensely. I wanted to look away but I just couldn't.

"So you went out with him?" He said softly, breaking the silence first.

I nodded and said "Yeah but it wasn't serious."

I tried to act nonchalantly but I knew he could see right through me but I could try right? I saw him looking at me and studying my face. For sure trying to read my mind, like he always did. He sighed and then turned his back towards me and started walking.
