CHAPTER 28
Lost LoveL. Joe:
I took Krystal to a Chinese restaurant and we had a feast there. It was fun, spending time with her and living like there was nothing in the world that could affect us right now. This feeling was great but I know that this feeling won’t last long.
People do say ‘Nothing lasts Forever.’
I tried my best to give my full attention to her and didn’t pay mind to the lingering feeling of emptiness that seem to slowly creep into me. I don’t know what is happening to me, I hope this is not some bad omen. I wanted to ask Krystal more about my supposedly memory lost but I didn't want to spoil the mood right now but I will surely find out what they all are hiding from me.
"So how did you like the food?" I asked her.
"It was really nice. I had a great time today. Oppa, we should go out more often from now on I'll be returning soon you know." She said disappointedly.
“Yeah but I have class from tomorrow again how about after classes? I’ll pick you up.” I promised her.
“Arra, better not cancel on me.” Krystal warned me.
“Yeh, I won’t my highness.” I said bowing to add to the effect.
“Oppa! Stop it, people are looking at us.” Krystal said blushing.
“Aigoo, so what? Let them stare. Just ignore it.” I said taking her hand in mine.
We walked back to our car and got in, I turned towards her and asked “Do you want to go somewhere else?”
“Chincha! Let’s go watch a movie!” Krystal said excitedly.
“Okay.” I replied pulling her along.
We made our way to a theatre nearby and decided to watch a Romantic-Comedy called ‘The Night Before The wedding’. It was a little weird watching it because it was based on wedding but it had its moments so I’m not complaining, I just hope Krystal doesn’t get any weird ideas from it.
By the time we came out it was evening already. The both of us had a lot of fun after such a long time, since that incident in the States. We haven’t been able to go out without having to worry about it but here nobody really knows what had happened and they won’t judge us. I’m somehow glad that I decided to stay back cause of times like these.
“So where else do you want to go?” I asked her again.
“Aniya oppa, I’ve to meet up with some friends.” Krystal said offhandedly.
“Do you want me to accompany you?” I asked her.
“Aniya!” Krystal said quickly.
I looked at her confused and asked “Wae?”
“Its girl’s night out Oppa. What you’ll do among girls.” She said nervously.
“Arraso, you don’t need get so defensive.” I replied.
“I’m not.” She pouted.
“Arraso, have fun.” I said leading her to the car.
We got in and drove in silence. I feel like she is lying to me, is she hiding something from me? I hope not.
“Who are you meeting anyways?” I asked casually, trying to get some information.
“Just childhood friends.” She replied.
“Oh, then I must be knowing them too. I want to join too.” I said excited.
“Oppa, I told you its only girls’ night out. You’ll only be a sore thumb among us.” She said.
“At least let me greet them.” I replied back.
“Kwenchana oppa, they won’t be here yet and plus I have to get ready too, I’ll take long.” She simply said.
“Arraseo. I
