“Sohee wake up! Breakfast is ready.” Mrs Ahn shouted.

“I’m coming mom!” Sohee was tying her hair in a pony.

It’s been six years since that devastating evening. I have not met with him for so long. The last time I heard of him was that he went abroad to study so it was easy for me to get over him but I’m not sure if I can face him ever again. Oh, well off with this depressing topic. Now I’m a high schooler, at last I get to be in high school. Today is my first day and I’m getting so late.

I walked down the stairs and grabbed my breakfast and rushed out of the house I was already late. Thank God, the school was only 15 mins away from my house. I ran the whole way and reached my class. My friends were already there and was discussing about their summer.

I waked up to them and said “hey guys, how your summer was?”

“It was great” “went to Bali” “Saw many cute guys” they all replied together.

“Sheesh, you people talk one at a time” Ye-eun said as she entered the classroom.

The bell rang just then. We all took our seats and settled down, waiting for our homeroom teacher Ms Oh. Just then Lim came rushing in.

“I’m sorry that I’m late!” she shouted.

“You are always late. Same when we were in middle school too. Nothing new there” said Sunye making all of us laugh. It was true Lim was always late for class never on time.

“You guys don’t be so mean” Yoobin said. She is the eldest among us so she tries to keep the peace.

“But it’s a fact that Lim is always a late comer but I wonder sometime how you never get caught by the discipline community. How do you escape from them?” Sunmi asked. She always asks weird stuff but we all got used to it by now.

Well they are my friends- Yoobin, Ye-eun, Sunye, Sunmi and Lim. We have been together since kindergarten and we are best of friends together. We tell each other everything. They know about L. Joe too.

“Oh, by the way I heard that some new comers are coming and that they are from US it seems.” Sunye said. She is kind of like the informer as she gets along with different people because she is kind and very soft spoken person. If you want to find any type of information, then she is the girl. She is quiet famous among the guys but she is the type of girl who has no interest in boys.
