They say you’d do anything for the one you care.

They say you’d do anything to impress the one you love.

So, if I do this – would you actually have the slightest feeling in the world, to actually care about me back?

I guess I'm just as invisible as those little pebbles in the pavement.

It didn’t even take me a second to say yes to Changsub’s request. I told him that I would be there in at least half an hour from my place, before I hung up the call, and shoved the phone back to my pocket.

I approached Nicole and she stood still at her position, with her forehead slightly creased, but a smile still tugged at the corner of her lips.

I scratched my head, and chuckled awkwardly. “I was actually waiting for you just now.”

“Ahh, really?”

“Yeah, but something came up and I have to go now.” I bit my lips, as I frowned a little.

“That phone call?”

“Yeah, that phone call.”

“Well, I guess I’ll see you around sometimes.”

“The next time we meet, I’ll be sure to treat you a lunch.”

“A dinner would be even better.” She grinned, and her eyes crinkled with a sparkle, I think.

I nodded at her remark, before continued, “Sure thing, Nicole.”

 We then bade goodbye, and went ahead to our respective destinations.

As soon as I reached the flower shop, I immediately noticed how the shop was crowded with numerous customers, hollering here and there, asking for their flowers to be done. I guessed that the shop had run out of hands, as I didn’t see much of the workers there, except for Bomi – who seemed really; really busy entertaining the customers with their requests – whilst the other two girls were busy carrying pots of flowers here and there.

There was also a big truck parked right in front of the shop, with their compartment slightly opened at the back – and a guy ran back and forth, from the shop to the truck, struggling to carry what it seemed like piles of new vases for the flower shop, I think.

I took off my suit, rolled my shirt's sleeves, untied my necktie and placed it over the counter – and immediately I went to help the guy to carry the remaining vases from the truck. The vases were pretty heavy – and it looked pretty expensive too.

After I was done with it, I ran over to help the other two girls with carrying the pots of flowers, and they thanked me afterwards. I wiped my sweats off my forehead with the sleeves of my shirt and looked over at my shoulder to look for Bomi.

Bomi looked perplexed as ever, and I started to get a feel that things were sort of getting exasperating for her. She nimbly ran from one customer to another, writing things down on her receipts, and the sight of her chewing the end of her pencil when she looked confused – was really, really cute, I must say.

Whether, it was instinct or not, when her right foot was about to slip on the somehow slippery floor, I quickly hurried my long steps, and reached for her wrist and instead of felling onto the floor, she fell right into my arms. When our gazes met, both of our eyes were widened, with the close proximity of our face.

“Huh, Hoya-oppa?” She muttered as soon as she realized that it was me.

I chuckled awkwardly, as I released her from my arms. “Your Changsub told me to come and help you.”

Albeit it was awkward for a moment – we then found ourselves giggling at the thoughts of the incident.

At half past four in the evening, the customers were slowly decreasing and it then became peaceful again for Bomi, and her workers at the flower shop. I sat at the small table, at one corner of the shop, sipping on my cup of hot chocolate, and the sweet scented flowers that filled the air - put me to a state of tranquility. 

I pretended to fix my sleeves when I noticed that Bomi walked her way towards me, as she took a seat next to me.

"Hoya-oppa? I'm really, really sorry to trouble you!" She said to me, before she continued with a rather disappointed tone, "I thought that Changsub oppa would come."

"Nahh, no worries." I replied with a shrug. "Besides, Changsub said that he was busy-"

"He's always like that though."

"Well, I'm sure he doesn't mean it, um, you know how dentist works." I reassured her.

She smiled bitterly at that, and silenced accompanied us for a while. I tried to study her face, for some trace of a possible smile, but she just played with her fingers instead, and pouted her lips. That - I couldn't really understand.

"Anyways, how was your interview?" She asked, as she ran her hand through her hair, a habit she had. 

"It went pretty smooth."

"Will you stay in Seoul, if you're accepted into the firm?"

"Most probably." I replied, as my lips curled upwards.

"Good! Then I can have an oppa friend, who I can hang out with!"

I didn't know what she meant by that - but I guessed, it wasn't that bad, to be an oppa friend to her.
