YAAYYYY SIDESTORY/ACCOMPANIAMENT/SEQUEL TO "HE'S MY TEACER." i gues this isn't really a SEQUEL, per se, but it's gonna be Kai's story after his part in "He's My Teacher" (which still isn't completed on AFF btw...*EDIT* he's my teacher is now the first story i've officially completed...ever<3) Anyways yeahh I really haven't planned this out that far but I really wanted to upload this..XDD hahah enjooy^^~~
also...I guess it's not TECHNICALLY necessary to read "He's My Teacher" before reading this because there's gonna be a new plot and stuff, but it might be helpful just so you can get a feel for Kai's personality/characterization and know his backstory because it'll come up and I'll briefly explain it, but you'll need more info.
Foreword
"Dang, you sir, are a hot mess," Suho said, stepping around my messy apartment.
I lifted my head in a lazy agreement. "Why're you guys here?" I asked, my head pounding and my throat sore.
"Because, Kai, you need to stop...this..." Baekhyun said, gesturing at my whole body and apartment in general.
"Thanks guys, but I'm fine," I said, finally getting up.
"No, you're not," DO contradicted me, grabbing my shoulder and refusing to let me walk away.
"Yeah, Hyung, plase..." Sehun whined.
"It's time to get over her..." Chanyeol said softly, gently.
"I am," I growled, vehement.
"No, you're not," Suho denied, the force in his voice equal to mine. When he spoke again, his voice was softer. "Just-- there are other girls. Really hot, pretty ones you had interest in before. Stop doting on her! She's with Junhyung, you pushed her there! You made her promise to be better, so please, please, get better yourself."
My jaw tightened. "It's not cause of her. I just don't like any of the other girls. They just don't feel right, okay?"
"Hey!" Sehun suddenly called. "Hyemin and Krystal. You told us; they were the only ones to see you dance without you knowing."
It was true. Hyemin had caught me freestyling when she came early to the Saturday dance practice when we were working on a group project for Junhyung's class. And when Krystal and I had met, at a park freshman year, I had been dancing. It was how we started talking, and why summer into sophomore year she had convinced me to try out for SM. I haven't been dancing for long, I still wasn't all that confident, so I was careful about people seeing me dance. Performances in front of hundreds? Doable. Freestyle in front of one person? Noo way... "Yeah. And?"
"That's it! The two girls you fell in love with...the two times someone saw you dance," Sehun continued.
I blinked. "Yeah. And?"
"The next girl that sees you dancing without your knowing. That's her. The girl you'll fall in love with. Third times the charm, right?"
