I want to start this message off by saying thank you very much.

And who would've thought saying goodbye was hard.

Honestly, it's very hard for me to end this story.  It really is.  After this... I don't know.  I'm scared of so many things.  I've met some of you through the creation of this story, and I feel like when this ends, the friendship ends, too.  I'm scared that I might not be able to make something else, or if I did, that it wouldn't amount to what this story brought you.  I don't know, I wish I could survive after this.

This story was actually started by me listening to "Safe and Sound" by Taylor Swift featuring The Civil Wars.  The idea of having the main character experience something surreal as she sings songs, as if that song is bringing her somewhere else, came from nowhere.  It just got to me, and I thought it was cool.

For those first people who subscribed and viewed this story, it was originally titled "Singing".  But after thinking, "Well, that's not all she's going to be doing," I changed the title to "You Are My Song".  I think it all makes perfect sense now.

At first I actually thought of making all the chapter headings based on the lyrics of "Safe and Sound" but that can only do so little.  So each three chapters, it's a different song.  Here they are in order:

I actually have another story in my head, but I don't know.  This story's just so special to me because it's the first story I'm marking as complete.  First chaptered story.  As much as I've told myself a billion times not to go all sappy, I am sappy.  I just love this place a lot.
