Crash - B.A.P (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d3FJ48idZg) ------------------------ Narrator’s P.O.V: “No thanks.” Hana stared at the boy who rejected her so easily—so swiftly—and didn’t move an inch. She was completely frozen to her spot with her jaw slightly agape in a frantic mixture of shock and awe. The silence in the cafeteria was so quiet that if you listened closely, you could almost hear the crickets chirping in the background. Daehyun had surprised himself after uttering those rude, straightforward words. They sounded cold. They didn’t sound like him at all. *What did I do…?!* Daehyun gawked just as his senses slapped him in the back of his head. Hana’s poker-face was so good that he couldn’t tell whether she would burst into tears or scream and curse at him for being so inconsiderate. At that moment, Daehyun felt a rather sharp nudge on the side of his stomach. Youngjae anxiously made eye-contact with him and tried to send an urgent message through their eyes. It was definitely something along the lines of, ‘Don’t just stand around and sit there, you idiot! Say something! ANYTHING!’ Daehyun blinked rapidly, feeling self-conscious from the glares that burned holes through his back. *Right. Say something. Say something. Say—* “S-Sorry!” He blurted out, “I-I’m sorry!” If possible, Hana’s eyes became even wider, and Daehyun muffled the squeaking sound from the back of his throat when the glares became even more deathly. From further away, Kai’s lips were formed into an all-too-amused smirk, “…Funny yet stupid at the same time. How interesting.” He folded his arms over his chest and enjoyed the show. Dahee slapped a hand over her face in embarrassment for the poor oblivious student. *Doesn’t he know that the worst thing to do to a girl in love is to apologize?* Lay shook his head and sighed. *Sorry Hana. Just try not to get too crushed up—* His thoughts came to an abrupt halt when he heard Hana’s laugh. It sounded very satisfied and completely genuine. Daehyun, Youngjae, and everyone else present in the cafeteria were astounded to see the Queen laughing so loudly. Usually, she’d just be all smiley and well-behaved. Soon, her laughs trailed into trickles of chuckles as she amusedly rested her head on her palm, “I knew I chose the right one.” Daehyun was baffled, “E-Excuse me?” Hana leaned back and shrugged, “I knew I’d get rejected. I guess you can say that I expected it.” “I mean, we haven’t even spoken a word to each other until that incident in gym before.” The ends of her lips curved up into a pleased grin, “But I just couldn’t help but double-check and see if you were like the rest of the male population, trying to jump at the chance of dating the Queen of Kangnam, not to toot my own horn or anything, of course.” Hana studied him with her gaze. Daehyun gulped. *What? Then she didn’t really like me?* “You’re questioning if I actually like you or not, correct?” Hana mysteriously smiled. Daehyun straightened up in surprise. *How’d she know?!* Hana slowly leaned in toward Daehyun’s face. He slowly moved back with caution as she smirked, “Jung Daehyun. You’re so predictable. I can’t help but be attracted to you.” His jaw fell right open. “But,” Hana sat back down, “I’ll have to restrain myself. I won’t hang around someplace where I’m clearly not wanted. After all, a queen must have respect for those around her, right? I’m not that shallow.” “I-I never said that you were—“ “Shh,” She placed a finger on her lips and feigned innocence. “You don’t have to say anything,
