Please, Don't Go - SHINee (Onew and Jonghyun) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6Tmsfr3c74) *119 is the number for 911 in Korea. **Please listen to the music in this chapter to set the mood! ^^ ---------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V: “We’re out of milk.” Zelo announced after digging through the refrigerator for a while. He straightened up and quirked his lips in slight disappointment. Daehyun put the empty plates in the sink, despite the butlers’ protests. “I’ll go get some afterwards.” Hana tilted her head suspiciously at him, “…Are you planning on washing the dishes?” “You musn’t, dolunim!” “That is my job, dolunim! Please go and rest!” An outburst came from the staff. Daehyun smiled sheepishly, “I was caught.” Hana sighed. “Agashi, please convince Master Daehyun to rest. We maids shall help to clean the mess.” A maid named Sunha pleaded. “Yes Miss, we will help too!” The butlers added. Hana shook her head and let out a resigned smile, “Forget it. You should all know how Daehyun is by now.” She tied her hair into a bun, “I’ll go to buy the milk.” Daehyun caught her arm just as she was about to leave. In worry, he shook his head, “No, no. I can’t afford to let you go out alone.” *Not until we’re sure that you’re not pregnant. …Actually, I still wouldn’t leave you to go out alone, knowing the shady people that can lurk in Kangnam.* Hana pondered over his furrowed eyebrows and finally let out a soft grin. “Don’t worry so much. Junhong will protect me.” “I will?” Zelo blinked, “Oh—of course I will!” Daehyun looked at least a bit more relieved. “I can take care of noona. It’ll be okay.” He patted Daehyun’s shoulder and grabbed his jacket, “Come on, noona. Let’s go before the mart closes!” Hana turned to leave when a hand shot out and grabbed her arm gently. She turned around in curiosity. “Be safe,” he said seriously. Hana tilted her head and let out a warm grin, “…I will.” She stretched onto her tiptoes and pecked Daehyun’s cheek, eyes twinkling. Daehyun blinked rapidly, cheeks flushed. “Be back soon!” Hana winked and hurried out with Zelo. “Hana agashi, Junhong dolunim,” Jooyeon bowed, “Would you like for me to call Driver Junhyung over in the limousine?” Hana chuckled to herself before Zelo could reply, “Oh, be rational, Jooyeon. The mart is only a couple of blocks away. We’ll be fine.” From the kitchen, Daehyun overheard Hana’s reply in surprise. *Before, she would’ve taken her limo anyday… Even if she had to go to her neighbour’s!* In awe and proud realization, he smiled to himself and went back to washing the dishes. ----------------------- Hana jammed her hands into her pockets and let out a content sigh. Zelo turned to curiously stare at her. She grinned, “It feels nice to stroll around the block at evening, right Junhongie?” Zelo didn’t reply, but instead chuckled and ruffled her hair, “You’ve changed, noona.” “In a good way or a bad way?” She pulled her hood over her head with a smirk. “It’s better, for sure.” He cherubically beamed while Hana snickered. “I’m happy you approve.” The two slowed down to a stop in front of the small corner mart. Hana stood near the door, “I’ll wait here, so grab the milk quickly.” Zelo seemed hesitant and unsure, “Why don’t you just come in with me?” A calmed expression filled Hana’s face, “The breeze feels nice.” She met his eyes again as the corners of her lips curved upwards, “Plus, you can clearly see me through the window.” Slowly growing convinced, he nodded, “But stay here and don’t run off anywhere, okay noona?” Hana waved him off just as he dashed inside, “Yes, yes.” The mart was deserted, except for one or two customers. Zelo bowed a bit to the store clerk. He was wizened with age and had a kind smile, “Hello son.”
