Normally, he’d be astonished at the size and wealth of it, but the hard stare of Hana’s father made him feel like holes were boring into him.   “…And that’s why I want to help him out, daddy. He’s got no place to go.”   Daehyun half-grimaced at the all-too carefree Hana, who beamed at her father. *She makes it sound like I’m a dog that she picked up off of the streets.* He moped silently.   Hana’s adoptive father cleared his throat quietly and sipped on his coffee. His expression was indifferent as he continued to analyze Daehyun.   “Is that true, boy?” Mr. Choi looked at him warily, like he didn’t know if he could trust him.   Daehyun blinked rapidly as Hana encouragingly nodded at him.   “Y-Yes, sir. Hana here was very kind to offer me a place to stay when I didn’t have anywhere I could go. At first, I declined because I didn’t want to do anything indecent or impose on your family, but she insisted.” Daehyun bit his lip as Mr. Choi narrowed his eyes at him.   Immediately, Daehyun straightened up and continued, “…Of course, your opinion on all of this is the final say, so I will not oppose if you decline this. I understand that this is a big favour to ask of you, but I promise I will not lay a hand on your daughter—“   Too suddenly, Mr. Choi heartily chuckled at his words. He laughed for a good period of time as Daehyun and Zelo exchanged puzzled glances.   But Hana frowned at Daehyun’s last sentence. *He won’t lay a hand on me? Psh. He’s acting hard-to-get, huh? We’ll see about that, Jung Daehyun.*   “Um… sir?” Daehyun tilted his head in a manner that made him look totally clueless (and adorable in Hana’s eyes). “Is it something I said…?”   Mr. Choi’s chuckles trickled down until he stopped. He put down his mug of coffee and gave the boy a lopsided grin, “No, no. That was rude of me to laugh. My apologies, err… Daehyun, was it?”   Daehyun nodded slowly.   “You’d better not lay a hand on Hana.” Mr. Choi gave him a teasing look and smiled to his adoptive daughter, “She is the pearl of this household. She is truly a great daughter.”   Hana softened a bit at her dad’s abrupt words. “Father…”   Zelo sweetly smiled. *It’s true.*   Daehyun pressed his lips into a thin line and merely let out a subtle smile.   “As I was saying, you sound like a very studious person, and very down-to-Earth. If Hana says that you ar
