It was filled with memories that were very dear to her.   Hana’s chocolate eyes flitted over every one of her memories. Pictures of her and her ‘three musketeers’—Kai, Lay, and Dahee—a picture of her and Zelo, an old family photo with her adoptive mother, father, and Hayoung, one of her and Youngjae, another of her and Haeyeon with her ‘in-laws’ …   Hana stopped at the three photo frames of her and Daehyun. One was taken against his will (the time when he wore the black tanktop), the second was a photo of her and Daehyun during the time he first moved in, and one of when they were at prom.   Hana smiled. Those weren’t the only pictures she had of the two of them together. She looked up to see a clothespin rack of Polaroid photos she had taken recently.   The time Zelo, her, and Daehyun were making kimchi, a recent photo of her and Hayoung, individual photos of her and her friends, and many others of her and Daehyun.   Lay, Kai and Dahee had gone to a university that was right around the corner from Hana’s, while Youngjae had gone to a university downtown, not too far away from where they lived.   Where did all the time go?   “Noona! Are you ready? Hyung’s waiting for you!” Zelo called and knocked on the door.   “Coming!” Hana mused as she turned around to leave. The gleam of the silver bracelet on her wrist made her stop. Hana touched her bracelet thoughtfully. Inside her mind, she could still hear the adorable laugh of her sister.   Slowly gaining determination, she flipped her wrist around and swiftly unhooked the bracelet, taking it off for the first time since Rina had given it to her.   *Growing up is a time of moving on. I think it’s time I moved on too, right, Rina?*   Knowing that this was the right thing to do, she carefully placed it on top of her drawer and smiled on her way out.   Hana hurried downstairs to see her father, Zelo, and a very uncomfortable looking Daehyun sitting around the table.   Mr. Choi had recently come back from Macau. This time, he’d be staying home for a month to see how Daehyun was treating his beloved daughter.   Hana giggled at Daehyun’s relieved expression when he saw her. She smiled, “Good morning father, Junhong, Daehyunnie.”   “Hana, my daughter.” He said proudly, “I can’t believe that this is your first day at university, nonetheless the one that Hayoung goes to! I take it that you two have gotten closer?”   “Yes, father. We even had a sibling day and went shopping last Wednesday with Junhong as well.” She put her rice inside her soup and mixed it to eat it faster.   “Really?” Mr. Choi laughed in sheer elation, “Was it fun, Junhong?”
  “Not really. They made me carry all the bags!” Zelo accused, “But… I like that we’re all getting along now. I remember Daehyunnie hyung was really bored that day, since he had to stay home and wait for noona to come back.” He teasingly grinned.   Daehyun yelped, “J-Junhong-ah!”   Everyone laughed, especially Mr. Choi.   When Hana finished her meal, she checked the time.   “Thank you for the food!” Both Daehyun and Hana chorused as they got their stuff ready.   “Have fun at university, and say hi to Hayoung for me,” Mr. Choi smiled.   “Yes father~” Hana sung as quickly hugged Zelo, “Good luck at school, senior. You’d better let me know if anyone bugs you or any girl gets close to you!”   “Don’t worry, noona. I have Jongup hyung to protect me.” Zelo posed with a victory sign.   “Yeah, but it’s Jongup we’re talking about. That kid wouldn’t hurt a fly, as big as his muscles are.” Hana snickered.   “Let’s go, Hana!” Daehyun called, putting on his shoes.   Hana turned and beamed, waving again, “Coming!”   ----------------------------   “Is it here, Hana agashi?” Junhyung slowed to a stop in front of Pyeonghwa University.   “Yup,” she smiled and grabbed her bag, “Thanks Junhyung!”   Daehyun thanked him as well as he got out of the car. Junhyung rolled his window down, “Good luck, Daehyun dolunim and Hana agashi!”   Hana blew a kiss at him as Daehyun waved. When the driver sped off, Hana looked up at the huge, intimidating looking building.   “Nervous?” Daehyun questioned, his hair dyed to a pretty brown. A small grin lingered on his lips.   “A little, to be honest.” She bit her lip, looking even more endearing.   Daehyun chuckled and slid her hand into his, “I’m here. This is a new experience for me, too. You’ll be fine.”   Hana melted at his sincere words and squeezed his hand a bit, smiling softly, “Yeah… we will.”   ------------------------   Two students were chattering after the lecture, two seats behind Hana’s.   “Hey, hey, did you hear about the Three Royalties from the Sunkwang Academy for the Elite?” A student murmured loudly.   “Oh, you mean Choi Hayoung?” The other questioned.   “No, not just Choi Hayoung. There’s three—The Queen, Kang Hana. The Prince, Choi Junhong, or Zelo. The Mistress, Choi Hayoung. Look, the Queen’s sitting right there!”   Hana pretended not to notice the ogling stares, but continued to eavesdrop.   “Whoa, seriously?! She’s beautiful!”   “I know, but you can’t also forget the Royals. Kim Jongin, or Kai. He’s the cousin of the Royalties. Yoon Dahee, Kai’s girl. Zhang Yixing, or Lay. These three are really close friends of the Queen’s, but they don’t go to this university.”   “Then who was that guy I saw with her earlier?”   “You idiot! That’s the King, Jung Daehyun! He’s the Queen’s boyfriend!”   *More like soon-to-be betrothed.* Hana inwardly snickered.   “What? He’s the Queen’s boyfriend?”   “Yup, rumour has it that he used to be a Pauper before the Queen fell for him.”   “What? The Queen fell for him? Not the other way around?”   *Who says it has to be the other way around, jerk?!* She made a face.   “Yeah, he rejected her once, I heard, but the Queen managed to change his heart.”   “So she seduced him? That’s pretty desperate.”   *M-MUH?!* Hana was about to get up and slap some sense into the other guy when the other part of the conversation made her freeze.   “Shh, maybe she can hear us! Anyways, you know those rings they’re wearing?”   Hana blinked and stared at her hand. *Our couple ring?*   “It’s supposedly wedding rings. Apparently, the King got her pregnant and they’re expecting a child and naming it Daeheon!”   “Really?!”   Hana made a face. *We’re WHAT?!*   “How do you know that?”   “Apparently, the university next to ours is the one where the Royals attend. Kai revealed everything to all the people in the cafeteria, and I’m friends with one of the students there. Daehyun’s best friend, Yoo Youngjae, is spreading the word at Yoonam University downtown too, so it must be true!”   *What the—KIM JONGIN! YOO YOUNGJAE! I’m going to kill you two!* Outraged, she got up and stomped out of the lecture hall, startling the two gossiping students.   One of the students regained their composure, “But I saw Jung Daehyun and Kang Hana interacting before, and they look good together, huh?”   The other student seemed to nod, “Yeah… They look like they’re blissfully in love, don’t you think, Rina?”   The male turned to the girl beside him. She had a bob with pretty eyes and a petite figure. She watched in awe as Hana walked confidently down the stairs and out of the hall.   “Yeah…” The girl named Rina smiled kindly, “…I think they look good together too.”   ----------------------------   Hana sat at one of the tables in the food area and furiously sent a message in a group chatting room using one of her apps to text everyone.   To: Yoo Youngjae, Kim Jongin, Lay oppa<3, Yoon Dahee~ From: Queen Hana♥ ^^   Yah!
